As you shift into the higher positions the string length shortens. The ratio of bridge to bow versus bow to fingers is dramatically altered if the bow "remains in the center." In order to maintain a consistent sound when shifting, the bow must move closer to the bridge. If you notice in the recording the higher end of the glissandos are somewhat grainy and the tone is dominated by surface noise. Practice slow shifting while bringing the bow towards you as you get higher in pitch.
