WMBD became crap after Nexstar bought them. WEEK has turnedinto a piece of garbage newscast as well, but they have one thing.....more tenured staff. I don't think the people of central Illinois really care what the news looks like anymore. Tom McIntyre can do a story about the problems with cow patties, and still rake in the viewers.
WMBD is the best and they're only going to get better. WEEK is a severely overrated joke that will probably get less and less funny as more and more of their news & operations are farmed out to Indiana. WHOI is finally looking halfway decent, but I fear for their future. I wish that the Peoria area would see WMBD for Peoria's best media outlet, which is undisputed when the 3 stations are closely compared.
