I am seeing with my eyes that these people are not real, but I love the interview none the less. These little computer generated people are fascinating to my inner child eyes :)
@Petrocinella Hi - the point is that he stepped on a rope - the situation for him is such that his fear of snakes generate a panic attack because he viewed the situation from his mind based on past experience; yet he is capable of seeing that what he stepped on was a rope once it is pointed out - that would end his panic attack... in this light it is clear that he is able to see yet how he sees what he encounters makes all the difference. ~ James
@Petrocinella Hi again; Yoga is establishing the mind in stillness. The Yoga Nidra practice I linked to in the description about the video is a means to experientially understand what it means to establish the mind in stillness - so you practice establishing the mind in stillness in a controlled environment and once you have 'tasted' it, then it is much easier to allow it to happen in more challenging situations. Namaste' James
@starrystar65 - Well it can be scary to realize that you cannot trust your thinking mind. Fortunately there is your native intelligence that you can trust. In the latter case instead of seeing 'with' the thinking mind there is seeing 'through' the mind such that the thinking mind is the instrument of your deeper, native intelligence - it can be said that your deeper intelligence is the intelligence of the heart rather than the head. Namaste' ~ James
The real beauty of this is that you are not being asked to believe anything. At any point you can experientially confirm that authentic seeing is when the Seer sees through the mind and sense doors. ~ James
