Part of your problem, Tommy, is that you try to paint Christianity with a broad brush. Yes, there are many Christians who believe everthing in the Bible is literal. But there are others who believe some of the older stories (Creation, Noah's Ark) are allegories meant to teach lessons.

Knew TT would come up with this document, but fail to find the most recent reliable source docs, which are much farther away from the proposed original source (which I don't dispute) than are the most recent reliable source docs of the Bible. It's naive to summarily dismiss 100-200-year-old sources while swearing to manuscripts that are no less than 850 years younger than the purported original.

Part of your problem, Tommy, is that you try to paint Christianity with a broad brush. Yes, there are many Christians who believe everthing in the Bible is literal. But there are others who believe some of the older stories (Creation, Noah's Ark) are allegories meant to teach lessons.

@Treemeadow We serve justice to people who murder our loved ones,God does also.When we die w/out being forgiven & seen as perfect by believing,we have seperated ourselves from the Holy God.He cannot behold sin.Heaven wouldn't be perfect if sinners were there.God gives us our chance while we're here,& when we seperate ourselves from him forever,we technically have murdered ourselves. this deserves justice.God will love us forever, therefore when we are seperated forever, we are punished forever.

@birdandthe Hey you need to research your claims... those are mighty words to say about Jesus... Read the case for the real jesus by lee strobel. He did extensive research on the so called "lost gospels" and using scientific reasoning and methods, history, archaeology, and well common sense... he disprove thoroughly, the claims of the "lost gospels". they have been proven to be written MANY years after anything credible could've been written, and there are MANY obvious errors in their origin.

Also, 'many years after anything credible was written' so you are saying that anything old is not credible, which rules out jesus as anything worthwhile as there was nothing written about him for at least 20 years.

@birdandthe U really need to research.U can make all the ignorant claims you want, but it doesn't make anything you say legitimate. the gospels were written within a time frame that is credible. still within the lifetime of all the eye witnesses.they had been preaching what happened since Jesus died,its easy to remember what you teach every day The gnostic gospels weren't written till way after that. hundreds of years late. its easy to make up lies when noone is around that saw to say otherwise.

Jesus loves everyone whether they believe in him or not he still loves you!! The word of God say's nothing can seperate us from his love. The gud thing is, is no matter how many times we "spit" in his face he still is there waiting for us to realize that all he wants with us is a relationship. God is not for religion, that is what he came against his biggest rivels so to speak were religious people. Going to church everyday does not save you, Its you asking him into your life for a relationship.

Galatians 2:16, John 3:36 Romans 3:25, Ephesians 1:3, Galatians 3:22,Romans 10:1-4 Romans 3:19-28,mark 10:50,2 tim 3:15. God says Galatians 1:8-9, the gospel is the ONLY thing that gets someone to heaven, it is simple, yet easily perverted 2 corinth 11:3.u have good intentions but BE CAREFUL WHAT U PREACH.

@Reflection303 Repent means a change of mind. see A Strongs Concordance to see the original language and how it means a change of mind not a turning from sin(which would be a work) in every passage in the NT exept 2 places where paul is not talking about salvation.You must change your mind from thinking you are good enough to get to heaven by ur good works,to acknowledging your sin & believing God paid the price for those sins,freely, 2 tim 3:6-8,Galtians 2:16,Romans 4:5,Acts16:31,ROMANS 10:1-4.

@Reflection303 :)The bible does say Jesus is the only way.It says this is through Faith in his grace alone.Believing God paid your price on the cross freely is the way to get to heaven.Look up MANY verses that say saved by grace alone through faith.Works & grace CANNOT be mixed 2 Tim 3:15,Rom 4:5,11:6,Galatians 2:16 etc. Turning from sin and living the lifestyle are obviously works. the pharisees lived the lifestyle and Jesus condemned them cuz they didn't believe they needed saved.belief saves.

God says in eph1:3,ephesians 4:30,john 10:28 etc. that u are sealed by the holy spirit and he Promises eternal life.So now that you are saved & Forgiven u should try & build ur relationship by praying,reading,worship,& confessing daily sin. God paid ur price already but this helps so u can continue 2 grow closer & build rewards.:)

I praise God for that every day. you might think thats just way too easy to get to heaven without any of your effort involved... but it wasn't easy by any means for God to lower himself to take on human flesh, come as a servant,live a perfect life, & be brutally beaten and murdered to be the perfect sacrifice for our sins.Not easy, Love.
