  • Love your collection dude. Really impressive what you put together in a few years. I'm like you in that I've owned tons of systems over the years but always traded up for the newest and best, so now I'm having to re-purchase everything. I've started out doing only complete-in-box for games, but not systems. Eventually when I flesh out my collection more I'll start picking up CIB systems. Love your displays though. Really awesome.

  • Your son has the coolest dad ever.

  • How long did it take you to get your game room to where it is now

  • @doomddevil92

    about 5 years.

  • Holy Shit Man, I hope you have house insurance!

  • Nice collection dude. Can u pm or post the link on how u made that shelf. I've been planning to make a shelf on my room. Since all my games are stacking up. Thanks and hope to hear from you

  • ok your collection display is the best i have seen yet

  • @brollicon

thanks, that means a lot considering how many great collections I've seen out there.

  • This is mental.

  • hey where did you get the gameboy holders? please reply

  • @zoxsk8

I think I got them at Michaels or at another crafts store named Garden Ridge...Then again it may have been Hobby Lobby. Don't know if you have those in your local area.

  • why would you want more than one of the same console

  • @jake10846

Good question, I failed to mention details about this in my video.

When I refer to doubles or more of the same system, I'm generally referring to my regional counterparts, limited edition consoles or color variants.

Other than those, I do have some doubles of systems but they are generally of my favorite consoles. I may have one out for use and another one brand new in the box. Or one original and another that has been heavily modded.

  • Also have you ever thot of selling nes/snes systems with the insides ripped out and replaced with basic computer components with a complete set of roms included.I love playing retro games but i dont like buying 8bit games so i use roms. However it would be sweet to play them thru the actual system. I'm unfortunatley not circuit board savvy to attempt such a task

  • @markhorsburgh the warranty is the issue. It would be really pricey to make, and I would be responsible for repairs if anything went wrong. I wouldn't feel right about reselling my work cause I'm just a regular guy and I don't know much about electronics.... just enough to get me in trouble.

  • Hey mate, just discovered your videos and loved them. What i like about ur game collection is that u seem to have good games for the good systems. You get a lot of guys on youtube who just buy every game going and never play them.I personally don't see the point of buying agame and not playing it.Keep videos coming mate.

  • @markhorsburgh

Hey, thanks for the friendly comments.

Me my self I've always been more for quality over quantity.

I think that some of these guys like to pick up what ever they find because they get them for so cheap. Unfortunately, It is very hard to find cheap games in my local area.

Otherwise I would pick them all up to resale them and get the games I want. : )

  • everything looks so shiny !

  • @zombee38 Well thats good, better than old and sticky.

Thanks, hope you enjoy the videos.

  • hello fellow gamer nice channel u got here, got a question, where did u get those A/V switches, i currently got a new tv and im constantly plugging and unplugging my rca cables and it wears em out, and i purchased this one it was a cheap one but it does not work very well, it puts lines and blurrs all over my screen so i dont even use it

  • @DigitalxxxFr34k

I totally understand your frustration. I am using Atlona video switchers, although I have not seen any for sale on their website as of lately. I should really try to find another brand or type because I am going to be needing another one in the near future. The ones I have now, use to retail for about 80 dollars then they dropped to 60.00 I wish I would have bought an extra, cause it is hard to find good quality switchers.

  • @16bitghost i think the ones I have are pretty good quality.. they don't appear to degrade the signal at all. Not like my Home Audio Receiver, that make the video transfer look like shit. I would also recommend getting an automatic switcher. It makes life easier if you have a lot of systems.

  • @16bitghost awe well that sucks man, and thanks for the info, if i come across one that works great that's automatic ill let ya know :), im just in desperate need of one. i also hear your a fan of the 16bit era, SNES is my fav system of all time. and ur mame set up is sweet. gave me a really good idea for my self, thanks to you :)

  • @DigitalxxxFr34k

Thanks, I'm glad my videos have been somewhat helpful.

I'll be sure to let you know if I find a new switching unit. I'll be needing one soon too. But I still have to find my next TV. It's just a Tube TV that I need, it shouldn't be that hard to find but I've been having a lot of trouble getting one.

  • @16bitghost thanks i appreciate it, have u tried craigslist?

  • I seen Sega Saturn games but no console, do you have the console

  • @dan198660120

Hi, 2nd column from the left 3 rows down. It's a Japanese console, cream in color.

The black console was very forgettable to me. I really like the cream console. It just stand out a lot more.

  • @16bitghost Ah ok I forgot they came in cream/white. I had a black one. Sold it for $600 couple years ago. I miss it.

  • I wish you were my dad when I was a kid lmao!

  • @Teskulthor

funny, my kid hardly ever goes in my office.

I think he's kinda numb to the room already. Too much overexposure I guess.

  • ... epic. Beyond epic. I have never seen a game room that epic. You, sir, are a hero.

  • @IgnorantRevision2

Well you know, I try.. saving bitches and all...

Thanks though, I'm happy to hear when people like it.

  • Pretty much one of the most fucking epic videos I've seen on youtube.

If I walked in here Id be like a kid in a candy store. Can I have some of your N64 games? :)

  • "i dont have that many games you know im just kidna starting" dude you could buy like 3 houses if you sold that.

  • @nuxy15 3 houses lmfao, where do you live.

  • wow this is freaking awesome! Most "Game Room Tour" vids just show a bunch of games lined up in a messy fashion. Now this is epic. I mean they should have a direct link to this vid when someone searches "epic" on google or something. A++!

  • @dcrediah Man, You just left the feel good comment of the Year! :D

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

  • @16bitghost no thank you man. I just subbed to your channel. Keep it up :D

  • will the super fami com games play on a north american snes?

  • @6Diego1Diego9 They will, but you have to break off two clips that prevent the Super Famicom carts from entering.

  • This very awesome <3

  • thats the best room i have ever seen and the slots under the tv ahhh

  • that is bad ass man awesome stuff

  • NICE FREKEN ROOM BRO HONESTLY I REALLY DIG UR GAME ROOM REALLY I DO GOTTA SUB TO THIS CHANNEL.

  • Dude! I love how organized your collection is. Really neat setup and awesome collection.

  • This is awesome!!! Subbed! ^_^ I love collection videos!

  • Nice stuff man. I would give my right leg for a portion of your collection. I have recently gotten into collecting and dont have many games or many systems, but It is a work in progress. Happy Gaming!

  • @jeff97ish

Thanks, Don't give up any limbs just yet.

you have plenty of time to build your collection, will you be making videos?

  • @16bitghost I don't know if I will make any videos. I don't have a video camera right now. Thank you for showing us your cool gaming room. Have a great day!

  • This is great dude. You deserve more views and subs for the passion and care you have for your games.

  • @rscapefreak

Thanks, It makes the hard work all worth while when other people can appreciate it with me.

In time more subs and more views will come. It's all good.

  • man how do you keep that shit dust free? You must be cleaning it daily.

  • @CMETRIQUE

oddly enough it doesn't get very dusty.

It generally takes a few weeks before I notice dust. Maybe it's cause I don't spend as much time in

there as I would like too so my skin isn't always flaking off : ( eww.

My wife thinks it's her new vacuum, but I think she's crazy.

  • I want to know what games you have hanging in those frames!

  • Another great vid !! Nice setup/collection - What I liked most is the fact you build your own shelves, I was starting to think I was the only one. The problem with store bought is they usually dont fit in the area well - Just a thought, but get rid of the closet door and build basically a alcove of shelves to display more of your collection - as a collector one must get creative with space ! A+ vid !!!!

  • @oldtiredman Thank you,

You took the words right out of my mouth.

Factory made furniture, generally won't ever cut it unless

it's a shelf made for books, and even then it will never be made exactly to the

    space you choose for it.

Interesting suggestion for the closet. that Idea has never occurred to me.

  • I really love the costomized shelves!

  • Fuck. I thought I was crazy thinking about how I'm gonna set up my consoles and boxes etc, but it's good too see someone else has done the same. I love the way you have all those systems underneath the TV, and if I could afford it I'd ask you to build me one, haha. Really though man, fucking awesome job. Keep it up.

  • resub'd. Had changed my name. Got tired of my old one. Forgot I sub'd on the old name until some1 ''liked'' your vid. Actually Lukemorse1 did. Cool vid.

  • @B1GMARC1

Thanks, well I'm glad you subbed again. what was your old screen name?

  • @16bitghost It was Mastrchief07.

  • WOW..................Just WOW!!!

  • @Oneshotwonder29

    lol, thanks for the wows.

    glad you liked.

  • pretty sweet collection. i think having a good collection of systems will save you money in the long run if you really enjoying playing your games. It really seems like game collecting is getting big though. I would like to collect but its too expensive for my taste. I collected a bit like 10 years ago and everything was so cheap. I will stick to emulators :).

  • @richycline

very true, It seems like more and more game collectors are appearing out of nowhere.

Collecting can get very expensive, but I've seen a lot of of guys collect a lot of great stuff on a budget.

Emulators, If you have a chance check out my HDMI NES Video.

    Thanks for commenting.

  • i loved my gameboy at a kid i really did i played it all te time. i think if it was now i would have played my iphone al the time because i loved small portable gagets. but now adays i never play my gameboy i have not pllayed a gameboy game since mby zelda in 1995 or 1996. might play FF legends gamingnight sent me sometime in the future.

  • Awesome room. I love those shelves. I need to get something like that done myself :D

  • @Destruktive

thanks, I think I'm always looking for an excuse to build things.. but I think

    I've run out of room. : o

  • ohh u got Jak 3 :D jack and daxter and ratched and clank was da shit on ps2!!! :D

  • Awesome room man... I still think that your custom cabinets are the best displays of a console collection in the youtube gaming community. For your controller caddy on top of the main cabinet, maybe put a plexiglass lid with a similar paint style to the game dresser top where you keep your handheld games?

    Thanks for Sharing!!

  • @woodengamer

Wow, thanks. seriously. That's a big complement.

Yea, I needed to finish painting it. I've just been really lazy..

I will probably finish painting when I paint the shelves for my system boxes.

I thought about the plexi but I was also being lazy, although it would keep the dust out.

  • well done.

  • fucken nice man

  • Very sharp. Nice.

  • @TheSoundBarrier

Thanks, soo how many guns do you own?

  • @16bitghost Not enough.

  • awesome as always man!

  • Love the red shelving as always, and the fact their all connected yet look so tidy that is one boss set up! i only have 1 automatic switchbox i need another.

And your loose carts cabinet makes me very envious,

good lord nice ps2 systems are they all japanese?

What can i say fantastic collection and great set up.

  • @amurphy245

Thanks, Yes the PS2's are all Japanese, but the video didn't include the 2 black U.S. fat systems and

3 U.S. slims. Those are chipped and are the ones I generally play. The Japanese are just as display.

I hope it doesn't sound like I'm bragging.. I just love the PS2.

I'm glad you liked the Loose Carts Cabinet . I started to wonder if that one was overkill.

Good auto switchers are hard to find, what brand do you use?

  • @16bitghost vivanco sbx99 was just a random one i won on ebay, works great though, doesnt always switch automatically but i got a remote anyway

  • Great room. Can't wait until I have the space to display stuff. Really like your custom shelves.

  • wowwwwww eh... are the inner lights on the console shelf from Ikea?

  • @SomedaysDreamersBC

    nope, Xmas Lights. :D

  • @16bitghost legendary...

  • really great collection, i envy all you guys with your own gameroom :o)

  • My jaw drop when I saw your stuff. I am really amazed over your collection. Great work.

  • @Bylga

Thanks man, Now I just wish I had more time to make videos.

  • Definitely one of the most well thought out, clean, meticulous, game rooms I've ever seen. Awesome, awesome work.

  • @MikeGartner

Thanks for noticing the effort I put in. I'm glad others could appreciate it.

Don't think I've forgotten about you, I just still haven't found the schematics for the shelf, I know I have them some where.

  • @16bitghost Thanks man, I would appreciate that! Pop on by my channel anytime....I got some new videos brewing.

  • @MikeGartner I already started, Great Idea with the Craigslist wtf's.

I have seen some stupid posts on Craigslist.

  • That was incredible! You have a seriously awesome game room :)

  • @HapasFine

much thanks. It's good to find other collectors who appreciate the same things.

  • Fantastic game room! Really awesome to see everything together. It is so well displayed with the custom made cabinets.

The systems look really nice but those boxes are hard to showcase. I do try to get systems in box. My game room is really awesome at the moment, but quite small, really didn't think I already ran out of toom for everything.

Recently started a sub on RetroGamer, fantastic magazine!

  • One word, amazing.

  • wow that looked awesome! i think you've created my dreamroom :P so jealous!

  • Great setup!!! Really like the way everything is ready to play (for the most part), and a very nice choice of machines. Yep, very cool!

  • Amazing game room and collection !!!!! ^_^

  • Amazing room tour,i love the console setup and all of your custom shelving :)

  • I LOVE YOUR GAME ROOM!!!!!! Black & Red are my favorite colors.....Watching your game room video, I had to pick my jaw off the ground a couple of times!!!!

  • @Pimpcessmoneymaker thank you.

  • Very nice man. Some serious amount of systems you have. I thought i had alot with about 25-30

  • @AmidstStorm 25 to 30 is a good number. After that they are just doubles or triples.

Is there still more consoles on the horizon for you?

  • @16bitghost would like to add a famicom/fami disk.. mega cd, neo geo cd, fm towns marty. I think i have everything else I want. Maybe an atari 2600/7800 at a push.

  • @AmidstStorm FM towns is totally on my list.

That thing is Pricey though. : (

  • very organised game room. basically the same content as mine (except a lot more systems) with just alot less room to put it in. nice work

  • @kotmfu Thanks, what retro systems do you play?

  • @16bitghost atm its just the usual. nes/snes/megadrive. id love to play the turbografx more but its kinda hard to get games down in australia (considering it wasnt actually released here :() recently got back into ps2 and i tend to agree.. it is an amazing system

  • ahh been waiting to see your room tour ! love it !!

  • @vinnieblacklodge Sorry it took so long, Glad you enjoyed it.
