In this case, Bill makes a comment about someone's values (morals). One can infer then that the person who called Bill on his comment believes they have a higher set of values (morals). Then they make a comment wishing he would die, which shows a lack of morals.

Technically speaking, wishing that someone would die does not diminish other things I'm saying. E.g. if I'd say the sky is blue and then say that I want Bill dead that doesn't mean that the sky isn't blue. You might however lose all opinion of me, and sadly we believe people based on our opinion of them.

Generally when someone is offended by someone else's comment it means they hold themselves to a higher standard. In other words they wouldn't make a comment like that themselves. In this case, Bill makes a comment about someone's values (morals). One can infer then that the person who called Bill on his comment believes they have a higher set of values (morals). Then they make a comment wishing he would die, which shows a lack of morals.

Technically speaking, wishing that someone would die does not diminish other things I'm saying. E.g. if I'd say the sky is blue and then say that I want Bill dead that doesn't mean that the sky isn't blue. You might however lose all opinion of me, and sadly we believe people based on our opinion of them.

I watched Hannity but I don't find him worse than Bill. He does result to more personal attacks but he gave the guys time to respond, Bill nearly without exception cuts his speakers off. (not living in America I can't really judge whether Hannity was correct but it seems like Fox News keeps saying "everything is ALL RIGHT"; while other sources are saying "some things are not all right")
The Olbermann speech was over-the-top, but he did raise some good points. I still think Bill is worse.
