Anyway, Samurai X is watchable in itself. My original comment was to some tool who complained about "demonic BS" and brought up Samurai X as a positive counterexample to Berserk. This infuriated me, since Berserk is superior to Samurai X, no questions asked.
And yeah, I know Samurai X is aimed at a younger audience. Still doesn't justify using tired cliches to get the teen's attention tbh.
@Kagonic Near its end? FMA is a dark seinen in disguise as a shonen the whole way through, the humor and light heartedness is a very thin veil. The dark themes used in FMA are almost as sick and twisted as those in Berserk.

this anime used to be my favorite when i first watched it, but it has sense lost its spot to samuria X.. i just realy wish they would have kept it with gutts and the raiders without all the demonic BS. or even if they would have just ended it an episode or 2 earlyer i would have been happy, anyway great AMV and i also like your ninja scroll amv.
To be fair, mid eclipse without the Skull Knight isn't the best place to end the anime. Very confusing to those who didn't read the original story. The manga is definitely superior, but the anime is still amazing.
You prefer Samurai X, which suffers from ALL the cliches found in mainstream animes to Berserk, which is incredibly well done and can only be compared to the Manga if you want to find errors?
Also, the "demonic BS" is the way Kentarō Miura thinks about the problem of evil (yeah, philosophy my friend) in the anime/manga.
Samurai X is a flaming pile of shit compared to Berserk.

Samurai X is nothing compared to Berserk. Far too many cliches. I mean, come on, the "yum yum it is lunch time" gag is not fun when you have seen it in 15 different anime series (and Samurai X pulls one of these off every 2-3 episodes.) Also, explaining your next attack to the enemy isn't all that interesting or unique or thrilling or anything.
If you ask me: Fullmetal Alchemist, if I want a childish themed anime. (Even though FMA becomes quite dark nearing the serie's end.)
Griffith is a tragic hero turned into a tragic villain.... Berserk is one of the most compelling animes i´ve ever seen, i just love this along with Gungrave wich by the way has some similarities with Berserk, i love its narrative structure... simply genius
VERY nice. Usually you see Berserk AMVs set to songs more in the hard rock to shrieking gorillas in heat death metal genres, so this was an interesting change and it worked fantastically. I also liked that you included many close-ups of Griffith's eyes, because I swear his have to be the most intense, freaky ones in the entire show. It would have been cool if we could have seen the actual rebirth, but songs are only so long, and it worked really well anyhow.
Guts is asshole.Grifis did a lot of shitness far to become a ugly demon,is because the love Grifis have for Guts.

This is definitely one of the best Berserk amv's I have ever seen. 5/5 And Berserk is still my best anime and the best story. Just perfect.
