This is surely one of Mozart's greatest concerto finales. The passage from 5.30-6.15 is incredibly touching, and the code is a stroke of genius, with 11.35-11.42 surely one of the most charming passages in all of music. Simply marvellous!
These were the turning points in Mozart's music. There were so many fragments like these that miraculously appear in his music where doors were opened into a new era of music. These were sounds never heard before. Mozart was already literally toying with new sounds to unlock the way into the Romantic era (imagine if he had lived beyond his 35 years). This is where Romanticism originated & then only to hand his mantle over to Beethoven!
Im 17 and i love classical music especially when its mozart, and amadeus is easily one of the best movies ive ever seen.
