  • Like a hot knife through butter.

  • lemn de esenta moale

  • Fasza Gép!!

  • ive got a 455 for parts for sale on ebay and about to sell my 455 running saw.. i sell firewood for a living and this is not a good saw for that much use..replaced mine with a 038 mag stihl. next husq i buy with have an XP in the model number. u CAN NOT buy a good saw at TSC. or lowes etc..

  • that is small pine wood (soft wood) throw it in sum bigger hard wood like oak bet u it wont perform nd cut like that. not talkn bad bout husqvarna saws but the 455 rancher is a piece of shit saw. it bogs down to easy in hard wood. i own one i know its a waist of money. im gonna sell mine. if i were any of yall dont go no smaller than a 359 husqvarna or 2165 jonsered (both are owned buy husqvarna) stihl is also a great saw to own. i also own a stihl saw all three brands are damn good saws.

  • Cara serra um serno de eucalipto seco e vamos ver, a não esquece de afiar antes, meu serrote esta cortano mais que ela. KKKKKKKKK

  • These are a good saw for the $.I had a 460 which is the identical saw w/a little more hp.it did great,I ran it hard for a year, sold it,bought a 372xp,and honestly I miss the 460,it started faster and easier, and just felt better with a 20" bar,my new 372 leaks oil,and isnt as forgiving in the cut, seems to go from wide open to stuck in a milisecond,no reserve torque, where as the 460 would chug thru anything,of course the 372 is quite a bit more powerful, but for the money you cant beat a 455/460.

  • I had a Husky 51 for 20 years, but the coil went today, and I went down and got me a 455 Rancher.

    Talk about an upgrade!

    Nice saw, plenty of power.

Perfect for the homeowner who cuts his own wood. It helped me polish off an ash tree with a 39" diameter.

  • 455 Rancher is a good saw for its intended use. If you are not cutting professionally it will serve you well. I only brought back one of my professional saws with me (262 xp) which will run circles around my rancher but also paid twice as much for it. It sat idle for many years as i got out of the business so when i needed a saw quick (ice storm) I bought the rancher and it has performed exceptionally well . Great saw for homeowner whom cuts their own firewood or farmer/ranchers ect.

  • This saw is awesome :) My neighbor and another friend has one and they simply cut some wood and fast:)!

  • yeeeeeeehaw

  • how would this go against a stihl 290 farmboss. im stuck between the 2. is this a 2 ring cylinder?

  • @crazyjdkid

Stihl MS290 has 56.5cc and 2.8 KW. Husqvarna 455 have 55.5cc and 2.6 KW. One ring engine too. Bottom line the Stihl saw has more power, but Husqvarna's runs faster... The farmboss is a great saw. But if you can buy a Husqvarna 346XP it is a better choice in that range of engine power.

  • I'm happy with mine!

  • hows the newer 450?

  • I agree with you

  • watching chainsaws cut wood is very satisfying

  • what is the difference between this saw, and the 346Xp..? which is a better saw for annual cutting of Red Oak for a long winter, and the random unexpected downed trees, such as large oaks.. Chainsaws are used often where I live, and was considering getting a good saw, I have a small saw from Lowes by Husqvarna, but considering a more serious Chainsaw, because of the frequent use. For the money, which would be better, and why in your opinion, if you don't mind..thanks for the videos..

  • @MrShannon888 Get the Husqrvana 445. Check out my profile, I have 2 videos of it cutting.

  • @MrShannon888

I prefer the 346XP for three reasons: 1) More power 3.7HP vs 3.5; 2) The 346 is lighter of 2 pounds; 3) Faster cutting speed (engine RPM). The 455 Rancher is a very good saw and you will be very satisfied with it. But if you expect to use your saw very often, you should consider the XP pro series. The 357XP sould be seriously considered if you want to buy a pro mid-range chainsaw.

  • lgx's are the chains from hell......lol i havent ever seen a full chisel like the lgx

  • hmmm the 365 cuts faster than 455.

  • @kenneykole

Of course, the 365 is more powerful of 1.1HP and is a Pro series chainsaw. Higher RPM makes a lot of difference.

  • @taylormade385 I have a brand new 365 (71cc) version not the older 65cc. And it runs FAST with a 30" bar through freshly dropped 36" hemlock. It easily beat my 044 i got rid of that was running a 28" bar and brand new oregon skip. very powerful, identical to the 372xp besides a carb restrictor plate. I haven't taken mine out though cause I dont want to void my warranty lol. I have had both 455 and MS290, both brand new in the last year and I liked the 455 better, even with a 24" bar no skip.

  • Man that ran through that like butter, was that a new Oregon 73LGX chain? This might just decide on me getting a reconditioned 455. Sharp chains do like buttter every time.

  • @Zorack10

Yes it was a brand new chain and bar. 455 Rancher are very good home or landowner saws. If you buy one, check the size of the chain, sometimes this model comes with a .325. This is good, but I prefer the 3/8.

  • @taylormade385 Can you put a 3/8 chain on one that is a .325? Just curious about that

  • @Zorack10

You need to replace the spur sprocket and the bar. Could be a bit expensive for the difference. You should find a 455 with this setup already installed.

  • Goes through the knots pretty good.
