Wth.. Why smash a guitar that's served you for so long? This is my only problem with rock and roll. There's no respect put into the instruments, they smash em or throw em into vans after the show. No kidding, actually. I just played a small show up by where I live just tonight, and I play bass and sing. After about an hour set, I smashed my bass into the stage. After aout a dozen times I had to take a breather before I went at it again. I couldn't even get the body detached from the neck, so I just tossed it down and walked off. That shit is tough. Bass Wolf...now he was rock and roll.

I was told that earlier in the show, a drunken fan poured Corona all over Billy. He was pretty pissed the rest of the show and this was the end result. On the Fender Precision Bass, I'm sure that's the same one Billy used for most of his career with Guitar Wolf. It's almost eerie how shortly after he destroyed it, he died. As if his soul was connected to it. :(
