I had never heard of Kotzen before he joined Poison back in the mid to late 90's. After that, he did some work with Mr. Big, but then he seemed to fade into obscurity. I never knew he was this good until I happened across these videos. I can't believe some of his work isn't mainstreem. If it is, then I guess I have never heard it. This is really good music; I am tempted to go out and find a Richie Kotzen CD now.

Ritchie you have a great voice and I'm glad you didn't just stick to being a guitar shredder. Its hard for me to say that because I'm a guitar player/shredder too. You are one of the best guitarists in the world. I've heard your first couple of guitar albums, they're beyond phenomenal. But man, you can really write a song! and sing so soulfully, it would be a mortal shame to see this talent gone to waste, just only being a guitarist forever. Love your work dude.
