This city looks nice only, its a crime cite same like melbourne , i was assulted by a native boy on bus 6 months ago, and today 17/52011 some one tried to steal my car, he broke the window and lock ignition, it cost me over 1100 $. i am moving to canada forever . and going from Australia with very bad experience, Police is useless.

I am from Perth and now living in Sydney, we have been here a year and moving back to Perth. Sydney is lovely but really hard living with traffic, tolls, expenses, rent etc, so is great to visit. Perth can be difficult if you don't know anyone, but so can anywhere you relocate to. Beaches, climate, lifestyle, lots of space, outdoorsy living is all just brilliant. It does get cold in winter though...I'm talking sometimes a frosty 2 degrees celcius in the early morning!

True! I am so accustomed to the warmth that anything below 19 makes me numb. Thunderstorms come sometimes in winter, they can be quite dramatic which I love, and also come late summer around March - April. The thing I love is that the weather is extreme. When it rains, it rains and so on.
