I do have a question though... it seems that your picking up the wrapped bar and putting it onto your right needle and counting the first stich to knit as 1... this has confused me... doesn't this infact increase the amount of stitches into your pattern? Maybe you could expound on this a bit more for me... I'm a beginner daring to venture out into the unknown of W&T... Thanks a bunch...

It does in fact increase the number of stitches, w&t creates more stitches, thus creating a shape! :)
