After learning that the more common type of barnacles are edible, I think I would have had to built me a little beach fire pit and roated some of these buggars for a taste :D
hmmmm....ive lived in ardmore all my life i spend most my time on the beach and fishing and ive never ever seen anything like that...im a lil creeped out now to be honest....i dont suppose you've found out what they are yet?
hehe, invasion indeed amylea6868. Unless my girlfriend and I were drinking too much it was definitely Ardmore. We even tried to go to the White Horses restaurant after but it was closed.
@PaulMWatson The girl is so gentle with these poor sad family of deep sea ocean barnacles/barnacles sea anemone family. Was there a happy ending for this huge family/colony of washed up Stranded family of sea barnacles ?
I think this is at Tramore Beach, not Ardmore Beach, cause I saw it there on Christmas Day. If it is Ardmore, then holy invasion of gooseneck barnacles Batman!
We have these all over the place here in vancouver bc

yup, barnacles. They are beautiful under water, they have little fans that collect tiny plankton from the water.
