Actually I have had some people say that 1 minute made the glycerin too hot. I suppose it depends on the microwave. It just needs to be hot and make sure to add the gelatine slowly and stir it as you add it.
Very nice Luxury... Question ! can I make a batch of Gel & Gly today and put in fridge and use for tomorrow ??? just want to practice tonight and want to save for tomorrows first Halloween party... Thanks in advance... keep it up !
I've got a problem with this, first, it wont harden... I've tried 3 tablespoons,and i've tried about 5. (1 packet is 25 grams, so i dont think its 3 of those) and, it is full of bubbles, it wont be a problem since its gonna be covered in makeup, but i just thought it was wierd :P
It really depends on how hot you make it when you mix it. But stirring it helps it cool down faster. And you can put it in the fridge to cool it as well.
Hi watched your other zombie video with the make up and I must say you are one of the best at it! I am considering being a zombie for this halloween but I had a question if it is really hot underneath the glycerin and other materials.
I will be attending a night club after the parade so I just wanted to know if it would start to peel or become really hot underneath it thanks!
The microwave scene... are you sure to only microwave for 1min, because it looked like time was going twice as slow.

Yeah. You don't even have to put it in the fridge. It never dries out.

should you shave the place you want to put it? will it rip out your arm hair?

Maybe you could add black eyeshadoy on the inner edge so it looks "burned" from the circuits inside.
(I think it could add a nice effect, but it comes from someone who can barely put her make up on in the morning)
Thank you for this video! It's been very helpful.

What did you use to powder the gelatine? and what'd you'd you use to make the red bruise after the make up on gelatine?
eonisuka22 1 year ago
@eonisuka22
Just regular baby powder is fine, but there are powders made to use on make-up to help keep it from rubbing off.
As for make-up I just use regular cake make-up.

@MikensFreakAssLetteJ
I get mine at CVS, but I think any pharmacy would have it. Usually in the skin care section.

One thing that's not mentioned here is that the liquid mixture of gelatin and glycerin smells absolutely **HORRIBLE*. I mean, truly disgusting.

does the gelatin get harden
freddyglovebuilder 2 years ago
It becomes like rubber. But if you put it in the microwave on defrost for about ten seconds it will become liquid again and can be reused.
luxuryyached 2 years ago
plus it's also a lot cheaper to make than buying in latex, silicone etc
