Selbstverständlich ist hier nichts spektakuläres, fast alles etwas langweilig... aber es gefällt mir ungeheuer gut, dass hier mal einer seinen BMW zu schätzen weiss. So muss es sein. Wer Burnouts und blödes Verheizen eines Top-Autos bevorzugt soll weiter Opel Corsa fahren.

Nothing spectacular, almost a little boring video.. but a driver who knows the excitement of his BMW and takes care for it. Who prefers Burnouts and other nonsense with a top-class car should further drive Opel Corsa

@christopher12344321 i personally do not drive one but i know some people that do. If you don't mind the v8, lower gas mileage, higher insurance, and more maintenance then a BMW with a i6 engine in it, go for it. It all depends on what you are able to afford and willing to sacrifice. Thats my 2 cents

I have a muffler delete on mine, which I don't mine the sound of inside, just cruising. I wish mine was this quite though in terms of rattles. Mine has a few rattles throughout the interior which are starting to drive me nuts. Doesn't help that Edmonton's roads are absolutely brutal, especially around spring.

I would like to know is this the proper position of legs? I'm thinking of getting 2001 540i, I'm 6'4" tall. When I tried sitting in one at the dealership, I put seat all the way back, and my knees were still a little bent. Is this the right way or should I find a larger car? Thanks.

nicht schlecht, nicht schlecht! Bin voll am überlegen, ob ich mir nen E430 W210 oder doch nen E39 540 i oder iA hole. liegt echt 50:50.... nach diesem Video sieht es anders aus. Das macht einfach nur Spaß!! (hatte bislang E36 323ti, E36 323iA, E39 520i,E39 523iA,E38 735iA,E32 730i,E38 750iA) achja und einen W210... 320 CDI...kein BMW hatte mich enttäuscht, jetzt ist nach 2 Jahren Mazda Xedos 6 mal wieder Zeit für was Vernünftiges.

I need to replace a few panels in my 6 speed 540i. The previous owner broke quite a few things cosmetically. Mechanically, it runs great, though. These cars can really suck away at your money! But, that's just the nature of the beast. These were $60,000 cars in 2000.

also mine is a touring (estate wagon) and I love it, tell me something: Is the space in the back good? just asking this cause I see that my estate has some reallyyy big space to put my feet... and I want to know if its like that in the saloon version

Yes, in winter i'm drving with Dunlop snow tires 225/55/16 on Styl. 33 rims.

In sommer, 235/45/17 the serial Styl. 5

I would suggest you, to do a test drive with both cars, before buy. So you can find out, wich of the these both better fits to you.

I think for eveyday driving a 530i is absolutely enough. Its a strong, nice and economical engine, you can calculate 2 - 3 Liters less consumption than a 540i.

On the other side...Who cares about the consumption? :-)

The 540i is especially with the rare manual 6 speed a special car, really fun to drive in every situation.
