You are right about the suggestions on how to continue the track, but it was just a little improvisation and it seems so far we are only able to do this kind of atmospheric "intros"; we have yet to work on how to increase intesity and make a real song, with its proper parts, flow and so.
I think that's very useable to start a longer track.
I found myself anticipating and nice rich bass and beat kicking in, still slow but deep,
followed by some distant Satriani type guitar floating in the ether behind it.

I think this where those samples would be really useful for you and on the KVR website there's some great freeby
VST effects you could use to mash them around to your own taste.
