  • pleaseeeee say "diplomatic immunity" lol

  • he sounds like a kiwi

  • This is NOT a South African accent!

  • omg its john cusack

  • fuck of guys ur not south african so how wud u kno

  • @paulodadddy Whites are the original south africans. There were no blacks there when the dutch and english came. They took open land and built a civilization. Then allowed blacks to come in and work sharing in their prosperity. After south africa became a republic it brainwashed all the blacks living there that south africa was solely theres and that they should hate and kill of the indigenous whites who were there first. I've seen so many people killed because their skin was the wrong color.

  • you do have an australian accent you nimwitt

  • Ja boetie. Ek is seker mammie is baie trots op jou. Dis my spesiale boetie daai.

  • you put a suit on for this shite?

  • thats actually not a south african accent, lol

u do have some aussie accent in there

  • I sympathise completely... I live in Spain ...if I speak English, they think I'm Australian, if I speak Spanish, they think I'm German or Scandavian?!

  • There is no such a thing as a definitive "South African" accent. We have 11 official languages, and most people in this country are fluent in at least two of those, English being the native tongue of only about 1 million people (out of 45 million). The fact that white Afrikaans people (about 3 million) have an "accent" is due to the same reason why Americans have an accent when they speak Spanish, and Brits when they try to speak French or German - it is not their native tongue!

  • He is clearly Australiian trying to be Afrikaan, he sounds rediculous. U can hear his high pitch coming thru here and there.

  • @PureAussieGold Hate to tell you - he is South African, with an Afrikaans accent... I on the other hand have an English South African accent, and then you get the black South African Accent, the Cape Coloured South African accent...so many accents,so little time..

  • Do you know what we call people like you in South Africa ?

    A knob

  • Hey guys yeah this dumb posers try to do us South African's accent -_-' We do not even sound like that! If you wanna see or hear how we really sound like go check out my video I am from South Africa myself not this amatures. . . >_>

  • IDEA: all you people who are south african and obviously speak english... FUCKING TALK INTO A VIDEO CAMERA AND POST IT ON YOUTUBE AND THEN WE'LL KNOW WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE AND WON'T BE FAKE. Jesus H. Christ.

  • Why can't there be atleast ONE PERSON on YouTube who can actually DO the South African accent?! Not these posing douche bags for fucksake.

  • Sounds like a put on Benoni accent. I am from Natal and when I speak to the folk in Ireland they think I'm Brit.

  • wow you have to concentrate so hard to do the S.A accent =) hahaha its quite funny.

  • I met someone from S. Africa for the first time this year. Certain words sound like what this guy is saying. But I definitely detect somewhat of an Australian accent in this video. The accent of the guy I met wasn't very strong, but I actually asked him if he was from Australia lol. Is it just me or does the S. African accent sound a bit like a ruggish British accent? Whatever, they're all sexy accents. And much better than the N. American "Southern" (South East) accent that I have lol.

  • Oh and, you have a very stereotypical view of Australians

  • @prettypurplebelle He is Australian

  • @Dimipoke1 well thats awkward, just disregard all previous posts of mine

  • On the contrary i find your accent very easy to understand i am Australian you sound similar, you also sound similar to a New Zealand accent. It sounds similar to some Australian accents, like every where all Aussie accents are different, some do but not all australians speak like you seem to be implying.

Oh and i said similar, because you do it is not the same but alike in many ways.

  • thet's a goood siff iffrican ickkkksint

  • SURE. . . . lol!

  • It's not that exaggerated :P I'm South African too

  • AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE, OI OI OI.... love the south african accent

  • mate im aussie this sounds nuffin like an aussie accent he speaks to slow im full aussie mate i know..

  • @thataussiekid01 do all you aussies say ''mate'' alot

  • English "Sooth Efrikan ekksents" don't sound anything like Australian accents. It seems that "I" sounds more like "Aaah" and words like "plane" sound more like "plah-in"...

  • @sofasport Okay.

  • @sofasport Lol so are you saying Australians are gay?

  • for the first couple of seconds i expected to haer a south african accent not somone touching up there hair

  • I'm South African and I laughed my arse off at this. It kind of sounds like a South African who's got down syndrome or someone with a single digit IQ someone who's been dropped on the head too many times as a baby. But it's funny so thanks for the laugh.

  • lol u a moron.. im born and raised in south africa and i understand alota dif accents..

  • ee liike to goo rround siying dat ee am a sith ifrican frum de trrransvaal ind my faather waz a booorr. eeven if ee dOnt know whAt dat rrreally meeans.

  • jeez this arsehole makes us look bad.

  • you sneaky fookin prawns ah

  • what a doos

  • You are an Asshole

  • really funny especially the end, i think its more a Afrikaans English accent

  • I DIDN'T FOOK NO FOOKIN PRAWNS MAN.

  • fook off an have a braii ya pooosss!!

  • This is so shit! Its like a very exaggerated Afrikaans accent (but really shit), and seeing as most of the people in South Africa aren't Afrikaans, that makes it even shiter. Hardly any of the black majority in South Africa talk like this. SA doesnt have just one universal accent, a bit like England has loads of different and very distinct accents.

  • what is this poser doing

  • the beginning is genius!

  • In my heart I am South African as well.

  • English is not my first language and I can make a difference between american, english, irish, scotish, and even cockney and essex accents. But never between Aussies and Southies...

  • @heinzo0312 Aussie and South African are about as similar as Scottish and Irish...

  • Our accent in Tanzania was similar. I was born in Zululand, but brought up in the bush in Tanzania. Then I went back to SA, aged 16. I have lived 23 years in the UK, and they always say I'm South African. See my video on youtube - Speak Swahili, Dammit!

  • This is a really good impression! Made me laugh!

  • jirrrrrrrrre is this oke lekke?

  • jirrrrrrrrre bra... is this oke lekke?

  • That is the hardest accent to try and speak, I dont know how anyone not south African can do it...

  • @CrustyBiker Lots of people who never lived or even visited South Africa can do the accent. Most of the actors in Lethal Weapon 2 had never even been to South Africa.

  • pathetic

  • I have never been

to south african EVER but I do

however listen to south african house

music and you sound SOUTH AFRICAN

    not australian...x

  • The Australian still comes through when you tried to put on a South African accent.

  • Retard. Get off the internet you dipshit.

  • Man its the same people who mix this up are the same people who can't tell hispanics and latins apart. Latins as in the true meaning (greece, italians, spanish, french).

  • THIS ISN'T A SOUTH AFRICAN ACCENT!

  • Mate, no worries, people change all the time depending on where they live. Die Afrikaner and the South African Englishman have completely different accent,so do the indigenes(the original South Africans) but we all have one thing in common "the love for this piece of land" Ja,you sound a little bit aussie but you are still what you are" south african".My advice is "try to come home as often as you can or else by the time you realize you 'll be thinking aussie and supporting them at Wold Cup.

  • i did not fook a prawn

  • Who is he?

  • This is not an SA accent, you've been watching too many ludicrous Hollywood and British attempts at doing an SA accent.

  • You actually sound like that rogue diplomat character, from that Mel Gibson movie "Lethal Weapon 2". "Diplomatic immunity" ... "just keep your mouth shut, kaffir". The accent is a pleasing one to the ear .. at least when it's spoken in the Sth African homeland, & as long as that's where it stays. For anyone who aspires to become one of us here in Oz, it means a requirement to embrace our way of life & our value-system .. wholly. The sooner that all migrants can fit in, here in Oz, the better.

  • Cunt, I do not know who you're trying to imitate. You certainly do NOT pull of a South African accent very well. They jutted out Aussie chin gives you away very easily as well.

  • @OuKrokodil lol i know this guy. he is south african.

  • O aarde!!! dit is oog seer...

  • I have so many friends from SA and NONE of them sound like this idiot. They are used to people misidentifying their accent as British or New Zealand and they take it in stride, unlike this tool.

  • @Honeysuckle1719 the guy on district 9 sounds exactly like this tho

  • ur=>on

  • FUck you!!!

  • Yeah you Aussie tulip. That was almost funny. ALMOST>

  • I HAVE THAT EXACT SAME CHAIR

  • the south african accent is indeed south african but it doesn't represent the whole of SA,the accents differ from province to province((province=state))

  • FOOKING PRAWNS!!!

  • @sproosemoose799

    OMFGROFL!!! xDDDDDD

  • @sproosemoose799

    HELL YEAH!!!

  • @sproosemoose799 lol thats the only reason i searched for this.

  • @sproosemoose799

    hahahahah fookin PRAWNS!

  • @sproosemoose799

    hahahahah PRAWNS!

  • @sproosemoose799 I AIN'T ONE OF THOSE FOOKIN PRONS MAN

  • The best part is after 3:59

  • @sproosemoose799

hahahah i would never touch onea them filthy fookin prawns man

  • @sproosemoose799 Oh look, another American Die Antwoord fan trying to speak Afrikaans.

  • agenee! Jy sukkel baie met die akksent.. dis verby. :(

  • this doesnt sound South African at all!

  • people of south africa? you still think south africa is all white? what a racist moron, most south africans i know speak nothing like this, may be the few whites do.

  • @somalipal Hey asswipe, do us all a favour and look up the meaning of the word racist in the dictionary (its that thick book with all the words in it).

    PS: Fuck you

  • @somalipal ... run along now and do some genital mutilation . that's what somalis are good at

  • i'm south african and this accent is VERY exaggerated, and it sounds NOTHING like the aussie accent.

  • @SunetteM I'M south african as well and it isnt to exagerated. lol the one commenting on rugby pretty much speaks like that

  • @SunetteM shut up you african!

  • @SunetteM ino it is isn't it lol

  • @SunetteM Actually mate, we do sound similar. As much as ya don't want to admit it. However, to us it is hard at first.

  • @SunetteM True: This is a very poor imitation. I hope this is not his day job.

  • @SunetteM thank you it doesnt sound like and ausi at all

  • it sound similar to me

  • i dont think it does

i had a south african teacher

and she speaks in a very nice accent

australian isnt similar to south african at all

  • lol, you need to practice more you over emphasis "Seth Effrika" You need to protrude your lower jaw to get the accent right

  • The south Africans where taken over by the Dutch and the accent is a mix of Dutch and Africaans.

  • dutch came to south africa. dutch invented the notnot.. afrikaans is not a mixture of two. its a mixture of many. go to any part of south africa. durban, joburg, capetown. even the free state where i am from. all south african. all different acents.

  • yeah i know mate didn't mean to upset.

  • dutch is a part of it. its not all of it. i was born and raised in Welkom. the dutch started afrikaans. but the south africans perfected it. dit is seker hoekom ons is so lief vir kaas. you didnt upset

  • Welkom? So you were a local at "Die Hoof" were you?:)))

  • no i wasnt a local. i didnt feel the need to impress people i didnt know. nor did i have the need to waste petrol on a hoefie. kom jy van welkom af? hoe ken jy die "hoof' ? hoe de fok vort jy a local van n pavement en n straat? daar is meer dinge in welkom. soos n casino, sportsmans en n kak huis vol circles. en n hoer huis. die hoere in welkom peop in die kerk en kan nie lekker dans nie.

  • lol no wsan't a local but i spent 2 weeks down there loging boreholes so went ito town most nights and got to meet some of the locals. Got very drunk one night and ended up in the casino at silly o'clock.

and good for you i never went there either but it seems VERY "Clutchplate" :)))

  • ya some of the schools we nick names spanner valley.. i must say i had a great upbrining in the old town. couldnt care less now. that casino is the kakkest one i have ever visited.

  • we only endedup there as it was open late and not to gamble so it was fine

  • @barkfallas

Ek laag by die laaste sin, as ek verstaan. Is dit waar?

  • die een van die hoere in nie kerk of die casino?

  • no Afrikaans dervied from Dutch not the other way round

  • "Understaaaaaand" - nahh that is an aussie accent

  • He is actually an aussie, look at his channel.

  • he does it well enough. but he repeats the same type of dialect in all his pitch. so three types of pitches, the longer you say it. the easier it gets. throw him in a pool of us, his talking like a peackock

  • Sounds French

  • 2:18 OMG we found that one white south african with a job! :D

  • um. wtf we sound nothing like that, okay crocidile dundee sounded like that but no one else in Australia does, he basically created his own accent. We sound more like.. Americans, seriously look up millymassacre13 SHE is Australian like me and that is how we sound. okay? :)

  • hahahahahahahahahah. "Australians sound more like Americans". The SA and Australian accent is closely likened globally.

  • Ja Boet, dis 'n kak Soutie aksent daai, jou Aussie fake.

  • Boet, you sound like the guys from Lethal Weapon.....hahahhaha

  • let's clear this up. People from South Africa, who's first language is Afrikaans, speaks with this thick Dutch accent. of course, some worse than others. People, who's first language is English, sounds beautiful. A light, sometimes heavy hint of UK (Colonization, as you know). So, people, not everyone from South Africa sounds like that.

  • I am an Australian. I was born in South Africa. Just like u i chose to move to Australia. Whilst u can keep ur ties to ur south african heritage as do i. u should not fight the fact that you are becoming an Australian. if u so badly don't want to become an Australian and want to stay a true south african in ur heart. why the fuck did u move to Australia then? u want to stay a South African.. but the country itself is a shithole as u know. u want to reek the benefits of living in australia?

  • "...u want to reek the benefits of living in australia."

The word you want here is "reap".

    "Reek" is a terrible stink.
