  • Welcome in Oakhill....Mafia

  • Gee... nice chics

  • WHAT THE... I searched for 30th music and i came up with MY FAV song out of my FAV game released on 2002 Mafia. OH MY.. good old times

  • back in the days when you could see the female dancers pants :D 0:38

  • caravan is one of my favourite songs

  • Redman "Da Goodness"

  • what an irony that 4 dark men that look like farmes made a song that is used in Mafia 1 for the richest part of the city in the game

  • WOW

  • 1:43 Hey bitch! Watch me bust a move...I'll just outdance Michael Jackson and James Brown but remain lost in history.

  • now this is truly AMAZING.

  • Does anyone know what this movie is called?

  • Holy crap these guys invented beat boxing and break dancing 50 years before anyone else

  • @bigjayrules ´don't forget girls with few clothes on music vids.

  • @bigjayrules

    and watermelon stereotype.

  • breakdancing @1:50.......wicked!!

  • "The Mills brothers in the 1920s throwin down some serious beatbox and Bboy skills yall - know ya history" quoted from theRapOet

  • This film is from 1942.

  • These vocal instrumental imitations are something I use to do in the shower. Nobody does them today, why not?

  • Video about niggas without watermelon? Oh wait... 2:22

    It's OK then.

  • michael jackson my ass! this guys did all his dancesteps 70 years ago!

  • Nice to see the Mills Brothers singing WITHOUT the guitar!

  • OMG.... This is so GREAT! Classic 40's-50's. What great talents, they were.

  • @cowgirlmoon 1920's honey, even earlier :)

  • @theRapoet , 1920's?.... Oh, I thought this recording looked more recent.... The Mills Brothers were certainly, phenomenal! THANKS for the info!!!

  • @cowgirlmoon yes you're right - they performed beyond the 40s and 50s (and this clip is from 1942 like @ajringen) - I'm just making the point that they came up in the 20s (before they were world famous) including John Jr. who passed away in the late 30s. I'm glad they were able to become famous and sustain careers though it didn't happen overnight

  • @theRapoet , Oh yes, they were great talents from the time they started out. Though, eventually, the style will probably come back, The Mills brothers were one of a kind!

  • So glad my grandfather turned me on to Big Band and the Mills Bros. This song is SUPER AWESOME

  • anyone els thing from 1:53 that scene needs some dubstep? love the song but i think it would be funny if dubstep was at that moment of time

  • Just four voices, that's all you need to make good music . . . if it's the Mills Brothers.

  • man i´m jealous of black people, they can dance without looking ridiculous like us white asses!!

  • @rod3067 I lol´d so hard at 0:41

  • @theishjort me too man! XD

  • Did he get to drink out of the trophy for pushing Aunt Jemina out of the way, eating a slice of watermelon in record time or inventing breakdancing?

  • I'm the guy second from the left!

  • Best Dance of all time, 0:38 to 0:46, and then again at 0:53 to 1:03

  • How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come? How come?

  • breakdanceing and beatboxing before the 80's

  • that girl in the beginning is a FOXXX

  • well shit, I guess this re-writes hiphop history. Breakdancing dates back to the 40's

  • @bboyneko - By now bboy, you should know that no idea is original!

  • @bboyneko take it further. Try west africa pre slavery.

  • see 1:40 old school breakdance

  • This almost reminds me of a modern day song where they have a small story and then the singing begins.

  • 1:40 early break dance?

  • @rabioza wow, well spotted, reallly is

  • Magnificent performance.

  • and here it was, the first cypher :)

  • moin.

  • Wait... Isn't that Todd Bridges at the end?

  • and so the break dance was born

  • Shit son!?

  • parldarám..

  • Here you can how old "Break-dance" is...

  • they've got the right to sing the blues !

  • Genios!!! Negros hermosos !!! Que raza maravillosa !!!

  • first time beatbox :D

  • This brings a tear to my eyes.

  • 1:50 Breakdance!

  • Stary świetna piosenke wrzuciłeś. Czuć ten klimat przy niej ;D. Do tego świetna gra MAFIA ;]

  • @feleczek123 Racja, Mafia świetna gra i mam nadzieje ze Mafia 2 taka też będzie :)

  • @SyberkaPL również mam taką nadzieje choć głupio mi bedzie grać mordercą Tommy'ego Angelo bo troche zdarzylem sie do niego przywiazac ;]

  • there jerkin

  • I knew we were talented but this really wows me! I listen to a lot of their stuff now the music in 2010 sukks I'd rather go back to the clasics 0:47 I think she is doing the stanky leg!

  • 1:50 break dancing, genesis?

  • now i know where beatbox and breakdance come from

  • very cool !!! I like the "breakdancing" from 1:50 to 2:02

  • Comment removed

  • Well, I liked the guitar part of the original version, but a capella's really fine, too.

  • 2:42. This guy looks like Danny Glover but it's impossible of course. :) I love this song. It remainds me about old, good Mafia.

  • that is the most beautiful video i ve ever found in you tube. and i m sure i ll never find an other liking it most. THANK YOU!

  • withOUT fuckin' instruments. great, great, brilliant and amazing at once.

  • 1930!

  • nie ma to jak mafia

  • This is fu**kin brill! Five stars!

  • You're right! It's brilliant!!

  • Wow,that guy was actually break dancing!

The oldest form of break dancing I've ever seen..

  • real dancing from the soul, allowing the music to touch the very fiber of your being and you letting loose your best moves on the dancefloor. this is beautiful and inspiring. just wonderful and a joy to watch and hear.

  • Mills Bros. were brilliant and man, them share croppers sure know how to party!!

  • this is what entertainment and TALENT IS all about....unbelievable that we can enjoy it on "video" today!

  • Mafia Oak Hill :-D

  • @Mirinovic hell yeah! :D

  • @Mirinovic hahaha!!

  • @Mirinovic - EXACTLY.

  • The first time i heard this i thought it is a trombone, a trumpet and a tuba... Now ... I AM REALLY IMPRESSED! (I know Caravan in Orchestral Version Too, but this rulez)

  • they must have saved a fortune on instrument transportation and handling costs.

hot damn, these guys are brilliant.

  • YO! the 1st girl was taking her spot light! She woke it up, I mean she was sexy, intensely on beat. This puts MTV, BET to shame.

Can't help but notice that the dances, the vibe of this video transcends time- I see some 1970''s, 80's break'n', I see hip hop battles, even some house dance moves, a lil reggae, Jump' n' Jive - Damn! This vids got it all!!!

  • Before watching this vid, I thought break's been an invention of later decades, but WOW, I was wrong! :D

Also the immitation of the instruments is brilliant!

  • Before MTV...........there was the MIlls Brothers.

  • Yeah!!

  • Magnifique !

  • what are the intruments used here?

  • Nothing. They imitate instruments.

  • @SyberkaPL only Pam Pam Pam :DD

  • @SyberkaPL

I have a really hard time believing that. I think they want it to look that way for the purpose of the video. Not saying that there isn't a capella going on there; but I doubt their ability to emulate a Trombone sound or a muted Trumpet sound quite so well.

  • @funstuff2006 Check this live.

    watch?v=FNOBrUITV4A

  • @SyberkaPL

    Well I'll be.......

  • @funstuff2006

There is a man in the city I've lived in for 2 years that would always make the sound of a trumpet just walking and cycling around. So I think it's really possible.

  • @funstuff2006

I saw them perform. They were the real deal.

  • @funstuff2006

you shouldn't doubt, it's only their voices

  • Breakdance and beatbox, nice =D

  • wawh ! excellent ! mdr

  • Not in 1930. They first time recorded Caravan probably after dead of John Jr. in 1936.

  • Great stuff

  • How old is this?? Dude is breakdancing at 1:50.

  • Nice vocal version of the old Duke Ellington tune.

  • This is fantastic! What year was this originally released?

  • "The events which transpired five thousand years ago;

Five years ago or five minutes ago, have determined

what will happen five minutes from now; five years

From now or five thousand years from now.

All history is a current event."

    John Henrik Clarke

  • Ohhhh, yeah, that rocks!!!

  • Beautiful! BBoys(breakdancers) will cream over this, the guy does(what BBoys call) 'swipes' at 1.55 I'd be interested what they were called back then, and the guys name if anyone knows?

  • thats absolutly without any instrument??

  • Yes, also without guitar.

  • Yes. This song is Mafia in city in Oak Hill. Great game. One of my big favourites :)

  • holly fuckkk, CANT BElieve that.. swipes in the 40's
