@magnorius the proof is abundant in veterinary medicine circles. Though not a common issue, it happens, and when it does its very bad. This dog may not have any issue and is just having fun. I think ifaznu is just stating that one must use discretion as it is potentially harmful.
wow theres alot of ass fucking comments in here... cant we all jus get along...... hats off to my redneck friend with a laser on his BB gun!!!!! us rednecks kno wats up lol and to all the haters damn take a moment out ur FML lifestyle and enjoy a good laugh
This was so cute... and people don't have to be so rude... Man... Our Mastiff does the same thing with the light "even a flash light" but our golden looks at him as if to say "your a little nuts"...lol
Your pup looks like a very happy dog... Just wish people did not have to be so rude when you were just trying to be cute... I loved it and my Bosco (dog) loved it as well...
all animals will follow a laser dot. cats are funny to watch chasing it. The best by far though is fish. shine it into a fish tank and watch them go mad
I totally agree. My daughter was playing with our Cavalier with a laser pointer and I had to throw it away. The poor thing became obsessed with looking for the light all the time. This was after only a day of playing with one. Thank God she got over it.
@ifaznu You don't know Jack Shit about dogs. How is this any different than him being in the wild and chasing something he wants? That's right, it's not. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STOP GIVING ADVICE ON THINGS YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT
@MallyMasquerade The thing is; he's chasing something he's not getting I guess. Maybe if you'd shown that you gave the dog something, and not just let him chase after nothing, and just call it quits,,
@ifaznu what proof do you have? so if a dog chases a bug around that will cause neurotic behavior? come on man the dog is clearly having fun chasing it
OMG, I have a english mastiff named Honey bear, and we recently relocated to AZ for 6 months for work, going back in 30 days, but she misses her yard, so every night she gets to go chase her "DOT" she LOVES it, we go to the BBall court, i will send video.
It seems that some people believe that I am using a weapon in the video. It is a BB gun and has a laser attached to it. The BB gun was made safe before it was used and it is not loaded. I would never have used a real firearm for any type of game like this. Since this video was filmed we have purchased a laser pointer so the BB gun would not be used.
your dog is dumb, she? doesn't even notice you are pointing a gun at her. My aussie/border mix has never even heard or seen a gun go off and she leaves the room and hides if she sees a weapon of any sort. (crossbow, pistol, rifle etc)
Since my comment our dog has passed away, she was 13 years old, but without a doubt, nope never went hunting, and never even heard a gun go off. I would know.
definitely not a wuss. She was just smart enough to know that she didn't want to be around a weapon. On the other hand, she would protect us to the death if a stranger were to pose a threat..weapon or not. She was actually pretty ruthless in protecting her family. She could go from the sweetest looking animal to something out of a horror movie if she felt like we were threatened, but like I said she's since passed away. Otherwise I would invite you over to find out for yourself...
Im sorry about your loss of you dog.... I just have to say however that i have been around dogs all my life. My husband is a hunter and it seems I have never ever thought much of it. But if a dog runs and hides from just seeing a gun, there would have to be more to the story. They would have no reason to fear a gun otherwise.
4 people didn't associate the dot with the gun..

I am a professional dog trainer. I know of many cases where
this causes neurotic behavior. It may seem funny, but it is
potentially very very bad for you dog.
