@MrBones103 Cheers. My grandparents are now getting on a bit, and thankfully with a change of job position recently I will be able to visit them a bit more often and the plan is to get some better quality videos in the new year.
Amazing wok, the noodles dont even stick to it!! Is it a carbon steel wok? Also how can I buy one of these wok burners? I bet the food tastes absolutely amazing!
@lycheesack It's probably from just all the oil I'd assume, though I will check with her in the coming week since we're having Christmas lunch with them. Food is off the hook.
OMG! That looks sooo good. You are so lucky! Thanks for posting this, it has a tremendous amount of tips on how to do it right, which I'll use the next time I make some chow fun... soon!
YUMMMY i LOVE THIS KIND OF COOKING -Iove her cooking station outside! and wok hehehe all the neighbours would smell her cooking !!! Awesome vid !! camera man sounds kiwi!
It looks really good. OK I'm going to order chinese food to night. I now it will not be as good as your grandmother and will coast more. But o well!!! LOL
Great video. When I see this video it just reminds me of how much I miss my Grandmother. The history and knowledge that these women hold is priceless. Thank you for sharing this.

Poon has a firm grasp of what is absolutely the most critical skill of all great chefs, michelin and otherwise: timing.
Timing of how long it takes to cook certain foods optimally. She separates and then assembles.
You cannot overestimate enough that ingredient in truely skilled cooking.

Leave the measuremants out, it's a nice natural feel to the way you show her cooking. Awesome.
