@GenerationXeroFilms No other site combines interesting truth and humour better. And I agree with them on that specific - that being shocked at things that do happen, but shouldn't happen, is a right response.
You want everyone to become empty or would you rather them be angry? I think its better to be angry like you seem to be about this subject. Taking the cowards way out is either suicide or numbing yourself to it either way its an escape from reality. I'd rather fail than numb myself to reality. These problems aren't going to be fixed in our life time. Once you accept that then approaching these issues won't seem so overwhelming because failure is apart of the process.
I agree. This shit has been going on since long before youtube, shit, I've been through worse beatings probably a dozen times then anything i've seen on youtube. I've been jumped, brutalized by the police, stabbed, intentionally hit by a car, maced, and shot at and none of that made it on the internet. Who do I get to blame? LOL. But I've also seen and been the recipient and giver of incredible acts of kindness, we have a very dualistic nature. Let's cultivate our better aspects. Peace.
We can talk about it all day and not change anything. It's what we do that counts. I would not stand by watching someone get beat or hurting animals without doing something.
I agree, people always judge me when incidents such as those you mentioned appear on the news and I am not shocked. But people just don't realise that it's what happens whether we like it or not because their's sick humans in this world.
It's not that they don't care, necessarily, it's that they don't know about specific events unless they hear/read/see about them. People are aware that violence and animal abuse occur often. But it's easier to express your disgust, as people DO, on YouTube after seeing video. Or commenting on articles in the news sites.
It is in our nature, it's true. But it's also in our nature to be able to choose which parts of our animal nature prevail, at least to some extent. So I agree we shouldn't be shocked like it never happens. But we shouldn't let it pass without comment, either.
its fucking so weird how i feel like i have such a conection to u dude it freeks me out, other than my wife and kid being first in my life i feel like if you were to get involved in some kind of movement to wake this dumb fucking country up id be rite there with u. i feel posionate about ur vids , wish something could be done ,but with most people truth hurts soooo bad they will kill to eas there pain.
Couldn't agree more. I'm also ashamed of being human. It's why I'm a member of VHEMT. I hope humanity will become extinct, for the good of the planet and even the universe. Humans are born savages (see Lord of the Flies). They only become civil through education, but most parents don't give a shit about that.
Thank you for not showing the animal abuse videos, I've already lost enough neurons just thinking about it...
I think humans are amazing creatures. And while we have the ability to sometimes do some fucked up things we ALSO have the ability to do amazing things.
For every kid who sets a dog on fire there are thousands who owns a dog and cares for it, looks after it and loves it. Who keeps it as part of their family.
"It just gets to the point where......I'm fuckin' ashamed to be human."
It's like you read my mind. That's exactly what I've been thinking. I opt out. You people take your humanity and shove it. I declare myself independent from the species. Think of me as a divergent "clade". I'm also a "non-reproductionist" (to coin a term). I don't want to bring another life into this world. It's not fair to the life..or to the world.
YouTube only shows how base much of humanity is. It doesn't make it so.
Remember when Janet Jackson's boobie sliped out during "SOME" football event, and people completely lost their shit. I'm 99.9% sure of "that said" audience have seen a boobie before. Go figure? AND as i type this....halfways around the world, some girl is getting acid thrown in her face because she didn't want to............"Insert variable here"
This is not just "what people do", this is what animals do. It's like when a bear eats some ladybear's cubs so he can fuck her and make her raise his cubs instead. I'm through being pissed off. I've distanced myself. Now I just see it as a problem to be solved. I think we can really do something about it if we just take a rational, logical approach.
@GuacamoleKun Yes, but at least bears don't do it out of hate, they don't take pleasure in killing members of their own species. As far as I know, the only other animal that kills its own for pleasure is the chimp... Go figure...
@Portocala15 Actually I saw a thing where dolphins were apparently killing porpoises for recreation. So it seems like the smarter a species is, the more likely it is to kill for fun. Maybe it's the result of having an imagination, I don't know.
Are you actually trying to say that we should see violence and not be appalled? That because it isn't an isolated incident that it shouldn't shock or upset us? I've never seen anyone get the shit kicked out of them in person (as in not on TV, internet). I've probably seen one person hit another ten times in my whole life. I know it happens, but it's not everyone and it's not everywhere. It upsets me & I think it should. What shocks me is people treating these videos like they're entertainment.
@rivenrock well. people get crazy about things like when somebody gets the shit beat out of him and they are acting like its some srs bsness, whereas hundreds and thousands of african little children die of starvation and aids. and nobody gives a fucking damn about those little poor children.
American News: A ship is sinking right now. 500 people died. 2 of them were americans. whole usa is like " oh no this is terrible.
German News: plane crashed.200 people dead. 2 germans OOH MY GOD
@Zhavrak93 1. You're comparing two very different things. Both are serious and both should upset people.
2. It's human nature to care more about people you identify with or share life with. We feel more strongly about tragedy involving our countrymen, and more strongly again about tragedy in our community or our own family. I'm not saying we shouldn't (or don't)care about others outside those circles; just that it's normal to care more about our own.
Have you ever considered that the best thing humans seem good at is killing? You wake up, and kill things. Just by walking you kill things. Look to a green mountain top, and you say automatically WOW I WANT TO GO THERE, or live there, or camp there....and then cut down trees, and then kill stuff to eat, and then kill stuff that are pests....etc.

@JustBrowsing219 No, it doesn't. If this version of human is unsustainable, it will perish and something more fit to survive will take its place. Or humans will disappear altogether and other species will flourish instead. Evolution doesn't hold any special place for us. It moves on.

I agree that pretending this doesn't happen all the time is wrong, and blaming the internet is just stupid, but I don't want to get to the point of saying "That's just what we do". We should be outraged by this shit, and we should retain our disgust when it happens. If anything we need to train ourselves to not need images in order to feel that way, since something is no less horrific because we can't see it.
Very few people act without reason. I like to think that it's all about what you can justify to yourself. Oh course, we can look at the end part of your last video before this one and think "it ain't all bad" but then you realize there are people who literally *fucking hate* those guys because of whom they love.
Audio works fine for me. I agree, dude, and I think it's important to vent it and talk about it, that's how we rise above it. What is 'it'? Nature. Who's fault it is, is still beyond me. Alien overlords? God? Just remember to be glad that there are an awful lot of us out here who care and who still believe just doing good in the world is the call of the day! :) As Carl Jung said, "what you resist, persists". Spread good will. Part of spreading good will is warning others what to avoid. You did.
I think I understand and even agree with you, up to a point. Outrage does seems futile given the amount of "inhumanity" that occurs every day, however, I would appalled if we WEREN'T outraged by it! We can't become so complacent that we think "Shit Happens," get angry and then do nothing. Outrage should cause us to act and get involved to stop it.
@lancethrustworthy Why not tell him how to do that instead of just ripping on him. Why not say "Hey man you should put up some foam to cut down on the reverb". Also Why don't you agree with the shock and surprise thing? I quit watching the news on TV because they always expressed how people should feel. This fake surprise. I'm not shocked that some 17 year old kid beat someone up. You shouldn't be either. I'm running out of space, but seriously...stop pretending to care
@teamhex You're not shocked, so he shouldn't be either? His shock = pretending to care? Take your head out of your ass, man. He's not you. He's allowed to have his own response based on his own feelings and experience.
@rivenrock No one should be shocked at this point. How old are we? Being shocked is something a child or young adult does. There's nothing surprising about Muslims bombing something or a school getting shot up. These things just tend to happen. That's exactly what I'm saying. The news(watching it that is) caster always conveys how they feel and it's fake to a point of being obvious. I just don't like that fake attitude that seems to want to restate that what happened was a bad thing.
@teamhex I think there's a difference between knowing that violence happens all the time and seeing it in front of you. I think that sometimes people are not surprised just as someone being beaten up, but at the behaviour of the bystanders, or the way people video it instead of trying to stop it, or the way it gets passed around the net as if it's a good laugh. And maybe I shouldn't be so shocked, but I should be upset. I don't ever want to be indifferent to violence.
@teamhex As for the newscasting, I can understand why you don't want the fakeness, but stating that what happened was a bad thing is just the truth. It is bad. It should be upsetting to people, because the world doesn't need to be that way.
@rivenrock It's not about it being the truth. It's the fake emotions the new casters throw out. It's like their telling you how you should feel. I don't care if 20 people are dead in Pakistan. I also know killing is bad...so why should I have to be reminded. It's like a parent that keeps saying "look both ways before you cross the street". When you get to the age of 25 it starts to get fucking annoying and more then redundant. That's all I'm really getting at.
@teamhex I don't know what theatrical news shows you watch, but on my TV newscasters usually keep a neutral tone, even when telling the worst news. And who cares if you don't give a shit what's happening in Pakistan? The news is for everyone, and somebody out there cares, especially in multi-cultural countries, what is happening overseas. Fine, you don't like it if they sound fakely upset. Just read your news online or listen to a podcast and stop whining about it.
@rivenrock That's exactly what I do....I'm not bitching about it. I'm attempting to inform others...not everyone can easily pick out bullshit(namely religious people). My mother watches the news religiously and I can't get her off the TV. She votes, so as far as I'm concerned I find it import to weed out bias wherever I can. It's like saying "Stop bitching about what fox does". No one in their right mind would accept that answer.
another awesome vid, man =-) also, my main user nic was JesusFingeredBabies (maybe you remember cuz u left me a comment liking my nic about 2 or so weeks ago) but a fucking week ago i went to login to youtube and it said i closed my account even though i didn't do shit so i now i have to use my back-up account :-/
maybe my humanity is off-kilter, but i really don't care that much about the kid getting the shit kicked out of him by a bunch of other kids compared to the torture of animals which REALLY pisses me the fuck off :-/
Rather than horrified indignation, I think our reaction to seeing inhuman behavior should be self-reproach. Most of us aren't sociopaths, but staying humble keeps us from committing smaller offenses. I think we should all aim to be perfect if we want to help this very flawed world.
Did you see the response video of the girl who filmed the beating up of the asian kid? "I like um know that it was um wrong but like he um deserved it!" -dumb bitch
I normally agree with you, but not this time. We should not get so uncaring as to where when we see something atrocious happening that it doesn't "shock" or horrify us. It is those emotions that spark conversation and sometimes lead to laws being passed and heightened awareness. People sometimes will look out for each other a little more. Sometimes, even lessons are learned. You are asking people to not act altruistically. That is horrible.
@Nienista I usually just look the other way because things with a big impact like these have a negative influence on my mood and overall well-being. It is sad and detrimental that we are our worst enemy; but I tend to agree more with you than GXF on this one. I know I need to put aside my well-being to defend the victims of senseless abuse; the guy deserved it, maybe, but there are ways to have justice served, this is not one of them.
I agree with you. I also think that hearing about incidents, and actually seeing them, have different effects on most people. Plus, although the internet is chock full of... EVERYTHING...People (I keep thinking of 'soccer mom's', most likely because I picture them, mostly, with the look of shock and disgust on their faces, LOL.) stick to looking up the things that interest them, and some-only things that bring warm, fuzzy feelings - they isolate and burrow themselves until reality disappears.

It's like George Carlin used to say how, although he liked many people as individuals, he hated humanity as a whole.

Don't forget the videos of girls beating the shit out of transgender girls in a fucking McDonald's.

I essentially agree with you. I don't agree with the idea of not reacting with shock or surprise.
I wish you would care enough to record your audio better.
Yes, I realize you're no video production company. I just wish you'd shoot somewhere minus room reverb.
My feeling is that Audio part is as important as the Video part.
You care about stuff....Care about presenting a better quality video. Good journey.
lancethrustworthy 1 month ago
@lancethrustworthy Why not tell him how to do that instead of just ripping on him. Why not say "Hey man you should put up some foam to cut down on the reverb". Also Why don't you agree with the shock and surprise thing? I quit watching the news on TV because they always expressed how people should feel. This fake surprise. I'm not shocked that some 17 year old kid beat someone up. You shouldn't be either. I'm running out of space, but seriously...stop pretending to care
teamhex 1 month ago
@teamhex You're not shocked, so he shouldn't be either? His shock = pretending to care? Take your head out of your ass, man. He's not you. He's allowed to have his own response based on his own feelings and experience.
rivenrock 1 month ago
@rivenrock No one should be shocked at this point. How old are we? Being shocked is something a child or young adult does. There's nothing surprising about Muslims bombing something or a school getting shot up. These things just tend to happen. That's exactly what I'm saying. The news(watching it that is) caster always conveys how they feel and it's fake to a point of being obvious. I just don't like that fake attitude that seems to want to restate that what happened was a bad thing.
teamhex 1 month ago
@teamhex I think there's a difference between knowing that violence happens all the time and seeing it in front of you. I think that sometimes people are not surprised just as someone being beaten up, but at the behaviour of the bystanders, or the way people video it instead of trying to stop it, or the way it gets passed around the net as if it's a good laugh. And maybe I shouldn't be so shocked, but I should be upset. I don't ever want to be indifferent to violence.
rivenrock 4 weeks ago
@teamhex As for the newscasting, I can understand why you don't want the fakeness, but stating that what happened was a bad thing is just the truth. It is bad. It should be upsetting to people, because the world doesn't need to be that way.
rivenrock 4 weeks ago
@rivenrock It's not about it being the truth. It's the fake emotions the new casters throw out. It's like their telling you how you should feel. I don't care if 20 people are dead in Pakistan. I also know killing is bad...so why should I have to be reminded. It's like a parent that keeps saying "look both ways before you cross the street". When you get to the age of 25 it starts to get fucking annoying and more then redundant. That's all I'm really getting at.
teamhex 3 weeks ago
@teamhex I don't know what theatrical news shows you watch, but on my TV newscasters usually keep a neutral tone, even when telling the worst news. And who cares if you don't give a shit what's happening in Pakistan? The news is for everyone, and somebody out there cares, especially in multi-cultural countries, what is happening overseas. Fine, you don't like it if they sound fakely upset. Just read your news online or listen to a podcast and stop whining about it.
rivenrock 3 weeks ago
@rivenrock That's exactly what I do....I'm not bitching about it. I'm attempting to inform others...not everyone can easily pick out bullshit(namely religious people). My mother watches the news religiously and I can't get her off the TV. She votes, so as far as I'm concerned I find it import to weed out bias wherever I can. It's like saying "Stop bitching about what fox does". No one in their right mind would accept that answer.

Couldn't agree more.
Rather than horrified indignation, I think our reaction to seeing inhuman behavior should be self-reproach. Most of us aren't sociopaths, but staying humble keeps us from committing smaller offenses. I think we should all aim to be perfect if we want to help this very flawed world.

Nienista 1 month ago
@Nienista I usually just look the other way because things with a big impact like these have a negative influence on my mood and overall well-being. It is sad and detrimental that we are our worst enemy; but I tend to agree more with you than GXF on this one. I know I need to put aside my well-being to defend the victims of senseless abuse; the guy deserved it, maybe, but there are ways to have justice served, this is not one of them.
happyraver1958 1 month ago
I agree with you. I also think that hearing about incidents, and actually seeing them, have different effects on most people. Plus, although the internet is chock full of... EVERYTHING...People (I keep thinking of 'soccer mom's', most likely because I picture them, mostly, with the look of shock and disgust on their faces, LOL.) stick to looking up the things that interest them, and some-only things that bring warm, fuzzy feelings - they isolate and burrow themselves until reality disappears.
