Clearly this interview didn't work as intended. From experience with people suffering from addiction, they are like people having multiple personalities. Sweet, cleansed one hour and a week later bitter and dark, and suddenly loners. They prefer to deal with their demons internally, privately, until the demon takes over and they can no longer hide it. Help for them must be on-going, consistent. They are never to be believed as cured or 100%. Life is never that simple for any temptation so deep.

Looking back on this, I don't think doing this interview was a good idea. Whitney didn't owe the public a "confessional." This sort of conversation should only happen with a therapist or a spiritual leader. Interviews like this only give people a chance to judge a celebrity and feel better about their own lives. Whitney should have gotten clean on her own and let her appearance/work speak for itself that she is a sober woman.

She got skipped frm 10th to 12th grade, was on the deans list at Temple University... and thn she met my father... and this ws the realest interview i have see Whitney do. Clearly this interview didn't work as intended. From experience with people suffering from addiction, they are like people having multiple personalities. Sweet, cleansed one hour and a week later bitter and dark, and suddenly loners. They prefer to deal with their demons internally, privately, until the demon takes over and they can no longer hide it. Looking back on this, I don't think doing this interview was a good idea. Whitney didn't owe the public a "confessional." This sort of conversation should only happen with a therapist or a spiritual leader. Interviews like this only give people a chance to judge a celebrity and feel better about their own lives. Whitney should have gotten clean on her own and let her appearance/work speak for itself that she is a sober woman.

Unless you hv experienced drug additction, alcoholism, abuse, or fame you will never know how she felt. I am a product of a drug addicted mother and father. She got skipped frm 10th to 12th grade, was on the deans list at Temple University... and thn she met my father... and this ws the realest interview i have see Whitney do. Much more than the one with Diane Sawyer. She was MUCH more open. She ws in a poisonous relationship and the world got to see it, but more importantly she had to live it.
