Once i was skiing and listening to music i think i was enjoying the song a bit too much. all of a sudden -and god only knows how- one of my skis came off and i hit the snow so hard and kept on rolling and rolling down the slope. i ended up in a SPLIT! but thankfully only a couple of people witnessed that embarassing moment!!!! x_x *facepalm*

then i started moving with one shout of "oh fuck" - its really hard to stop yourself with no skis or poles

the next thing i know im racing down the bloody slope unable to stop

80 feet latter - and the three snowboarders at the bottom "that was awesome... it sucks that you have to go and get your skis" then they gap

i start trekking to get my shit.....

I love it. It is my life. I live it 300 days a year and if I died from it, so be it. Seeing video's like this are a constant reminder of how risky it is to do such a sport, as long as we are analytical and critical with the reasoning for the accidents we see, the end result will be lower accident rates with the "educated" sportsmen who watch.

not that funny, i fell down a 20 ish foot cliff at spring break when a ski hit a branch under the powder and i have had a concussion since, i cant imagine how painfull those wipeouts are. Im sure some of those take more than a month to heal.
