@jimioutback I replaced the stock tuners on my baja with the fender locking tuners... way better. however there not a direct swap, you have to make some modifications to the stock tuner holes.

I don't see much difference in all the tele's ....they sound pretty much the same..which is very nice....but all the diff types...diff names but the same thing

What a bunch of BS from Fender. They try to make an over priced guitar sound special by having the neck plate say custom shop on it. Big deal. Better first do something about the bad design on the bridge that doesn't allow for proper intonation, the cable jack that is a crap design, and the noisy electronics that need to be shielded and grounded. A lot of money to pay, to then have to do a lot of upgrading to get a decent guitar.

@Hendrik0027 You're absiolutuely right. I love teles, BUT, it's 2010, shield and ground the elctronics si I can play the neck and middle position in the winter, and for crying out loud, at least put on compensated saddles on the 3 barrel bridges!

Man I've just got to say that the guys doing this review always play reaaally boring.. I mean it's not bad, it's just not the way most guitarist would play.. It kinda sounds like a commercial tune..

well, they're just trying to illustrate some of the tones capable from the guitar. They're not trying to melt your face of with God-like speed and mindlessly shred through scales. If you want that then go up to your search bar and enter in Yngwie Malmsteen.

Ive been wanting to get this guitar for ages but there is just one thing holding me back. Im into rock music aswell and most utube videos are all bluesy stuff. Can some1 please tell me if this guitar has a nice overdrive sound ???

not to sure about this one, most regular telecaster pickups have a good overdriven sound, however this one has a broadcaster bridge pickup which maybe is a little to bright, however the neck pickup could be fine

I played the Baja just yesterday, first time i have played this particular model Telecaster. The sounds you can get from it are outstanding! And the added S1 switch give you alot more options than a standard Tele 3 way switch, my favourite thing about this Tele is the neck is fucking thick as hell! Its like a fucking baseball bat, it gives you great tone and i will be buying one as soon as i get paid :-)
