  • jajajjajaj lo estuve buscando hace bastante jaajjaja

  • this is one of the most underrated 80s cartoons ever

  • It is totally bizarre that the Ed Grimley character was made into a kid's cartoon.

  • Ed Grimley is a SNL character, which makes it illogical to me that they'd have a cartoon of him because SNL wasn't aimed at that age demographic.

  • @landrykkb Actually, Martin Short's Ed Grimley character was originally from SCTV. Short brought it over to SNL when he was hired for the show's tenth season (1984-1985 season), and it became more popular there than it did on SCTV.

  • Oh my God... I forgot all about this.

  • I never knew this character was originally a live-action character created and played by Martin Short. I always thought he looked like an adult version of Alfafa.

  • ooooh mi infancia vuelve a nacer!!

  • Oooohhhh q hermosos tiempos!!!!

That brings back some great memories. Anyone remeber Ernest from the Ernest movies having a Saturday morning show. I think it used to come on ABC.

  • @zshaw7549 It (Ernest) aired on CBS.

  • @kambreesuncle2 cool. for some reason I couold not remember what station it came on but I used to watch it. Thanks!

  • Thumbs up for Count Floyd!

  • I was led here from Beavis and Butthead.

  • Another one for you Chris.

  • the floyd conde XD!!!!

    it's my favorite character!!!!

  • OH, GIMME A BREAK! THIS WAS REALLY ONE OF MY most favorite saturday morning cartoons I must say.

  • luv this!@ :D

  • the kickoff of the cartoon network when it first started.......

  • what channel did they show this on?? i totally forgot, but this show was hilarious

  • Wow I remember this intro song, but only a few very faint memories of this show.

  • hard to believe this show lasted a season considering there were only 13 episodes total made

  • So I 've been trying to remember what this show was for about the last 10 years if not more. I miss this show.

  • I REMEMBER THIS SHOW!!! 8D lmao!

  • The theme reminds me a bit of Pee Wee's Big Adventure...

  • when I was a little kid, Count Floyd told a couple of stories that really scared me. I was like 4 or 5

    Jajajaja.

  • anywhere to watch this online? i really wanna watch the episode with the tuna casserole in space.

  • o Jebus i used to watch this when i was 8 year old ...... aaaaa it all came back to me

  • This was a great cartoon. It's a shame that it's not on dvd. I remember this was on cbs and it was on before Garfield and Friends.

  • I also watched it on cartoon network back in the day. I used to love this show. I think I might buy the dvd set.

  • I completely forgot about this show. I used to be addicted as a kid. Count Floyd pwned.

  • When I was a kid, I always thought it was a really bizarre show. I remember staying up late on summer nights during Cartoon Network's early days, watching this, Wait Till Your Father Gets Home, Fantastic Four, Space Ghost Coast To Coast and Late Night Black And White.

Too bad it hasn't turned up on Boomerang or Adult Swim's tail end ( if Gary Coleman's cartoon could, why not Ed Grimley ?).

  • I also tought it was strangely bizarre but i loved it !! :)

  • @YoungAF1 Dam man you gave me flash backs to my child hood mentioning all those shows thats exactly the same line up of shows i watched as a kid late at night on cartoon network . Lets not "THE BANANA SPLITS" and johny quest lol .. * SIGH...* The good ol days

  • @YoungAF1 i HATED!! Space Ghost coast to coast ..The flinstones would make their usual late night appearances as well along with the hair bear bunch lol

  • @YoungAF1 Boomerang aired the show a few years ago, but it was in the early morning on weekends for about three months or so.

  • @YoungAF1

i miss when cartoon network was good.

  • i kept humming the theme....the other day but couldnt remember where it was from...then it hit me like a punch in the face i must say

  • uncle mr. grimley

    q antiguo

  • I miss this cartoon! I would like to see the serie all over again, fun.fun.fun WIN!!!!1!!!

  • Oh my good lord, I haven't seen this in nearly nineteen years. It hasn't aged well, but the nostalgia value makes up for that :)

  • That was absolutely horrible.

  • Era Nerd el we

  • Great one! good old times! Thanks a lot

  • I think this just unclogged a pipe in my brain...this took me sooooo way back and I thought I was going crazy cause I told people about this, asked about it, and no one knew what I meant.

  • I know what you mean. It was like a image stuck in the back of my mind... I vaguely remembered what the dude looked like but I couldn't remember the name. I was goin' nuts cuz I couldn't find out who the hell that ridiculous dancin' character's name was! lol

  • This tune is like the music on pee Wee's big adventure, and Ed is styled like Pee wee.

I can see the resemblance to Alfalfa from little rascals too.

  • =0 years Finding

  • WEA MAS LA ZORRA

  • FLASH BACK!!!!!

    thanks for uploading it

  • now dis is dat show right here

  • wow i almost forgot about ed grimly... thanks uploader :)

  • Wow! Not even the INTROS to cartoons these days can match up to those from the past! That's my opinion at least. They ought to show reruns of older shows like this... I miss them.

  • WOW THAT TOOK ME BACK!!

  • Great cartoon. If you're a 90s kid like me, you can't talk about cartoons without talking about Ed Grimley.

  • This is quite amusing, I find what was on tv then is alot better what is on tv now, such a comparison...

  • Work of art, dont let me find the boxset ill gewt 2, lol.

  • I LOVED this show. Count Floyd's scary stories was awesome, too. Where's the boxset???

  • el mejor show que existia, digo yo no?

  • all I remember is the dracula

  • lo mejor q me ha pasado

  • i must say....

  • I've been trying to remember this cartoon for the longest time *-* <3333 His weird gyrations and pointy-alfalfa-like hair haunted my subconscious all last year and no one seemed to know he existed besides me D:! I was going crazy @____@;

  • rotf me too

  • OOHH MY GOD!!!!!!!! THAT MUSIC!!!

finding this video made my WEEK

  • q maaasa loco! yo lo veia!

  • ...this show was retarded as fuck...but i couldnt help but sit through the entire thing...lol...

  • this brings back some memories. ed grimley and pee wee herman always reminded me of each other.

  • mortalll ajajajjaja

  • OOOO Count Floyd AAAAHHHOOOOOOOOO! (very scarey kids).....

  • holy crap, this brings back memories!

  • I remember watching this on Saturday mornings, I started kindergarden a few weeks before it premiered.

  • what was the name of the segment with the 2 scientists?

  • Roger and Emil, the Amazing Gustav Brothers.

  • oh yeah!!!! thats right! cool thanks

  • I remember when this was on NBC's Saturday morning schedule [11:30am-12noon(et)] during the 1988-'89 season...it only lasted 13 episodes, and they stretched them out over that season because of the writer's strike back then. I LOVED it, but I had a feeling it was "too weird" to last another year- nothing has ever matched it since....

  • The writer's strike of 1988 was the one that lasted five months, wasn't it (as opposed to the 2007-2008 one which lasted roughly 3 months).

  • So thats why this show didn't last long, huh? Because of that? Well hey, I was way too young to even know about this show anyway. But even so, that's bullshit that Ed Grimley was so short lived. G-damn strikes...

  • diosssssssssssssssssss

mi infancia se resume en este ser

  • This was one of those shows that I never knew the name of when it was on and then I found it out a decade laterm like Capitol Critters. I saw this on an airplane to California and it blew me away.

  • PAPRIKA!

  • i cried when this show was taken of the air...

  • what do i have just see? =O

  • the title name for this show is weird.

    even the Count Floyd Segment.

  • Are you kidding? The title was one of the best parts of the show!

This is another perfect example of an animated show that is CLEARLY not "just for kids".

I wish I understood why network execs are so locked into that mindset. Animated=children's show. (Although, thankfully, that IS changing.)

  • Buenisimo Flaco, estos son los dibujitos Polenta!!

  • BUENISIMO

  • its been A LONG time since I last seen this, I must say!

  • carton based on an SNL character...ugh

  • Um, actually, it was based on an SCTV character, not an SNL character.

  • But Ed Grimley was more popular on SNL than he was on SCTV. And Martin Short was a castmember on both of those shows.

  • Yes, you're right, but Ed Grimley debuted on SCTV and appeared on SNL afterwards.

  • And my first memory of Ed Grimley (and Martin Short) was on season 10 (the 1984-1985 season) of SNL (because that season had a very bizarre opening to it, it's hard not to remember it).

  • This is so sad I must say
