thanks for the really supportive comments. we searched the internet high and low to make sure there was nothing like our skit already done. we found a video or 2 of nurses dancing, but we didn't find any skits with Gaga in them. We were just as disappointed as anybody that she kept popping up, we didn't see the other skits till that day. we'd been to another convention six months before where she was referenced a lot (way after we came up with our concept) but figured it would die down by Acen
@sonotthatcool hey, sorry, but what did you use to make your skin so pale? I'm gonna do a character that has that skin tone and I really don't know what to use >.<
@banifi sorry it took so long to answer but we just used white clown face paint! we used a little brown to make us look dirty and we used watercolors to paint veins on. :)
I am really surprised that they didn't win anything for this skit. I realize that Lady Gaga had been done in at least 3 different skits, but this one actually applied really well given the actual video for Bad Romance had that exact dance. They did a really good job and if I were one of the judges I'd have given them at least SOMETHING.
@ShidobuCloud That's exactly the problem. The exact same thing was done countless time, Silent Hill nurses dancing to a song with a nice beat. Nothing special slash original.
