It's literally 'Fried Rice' in English. Even we have Chinese version of it too.
It's just the recipe that is different...
It just happens that the one in here is Indonesia's (and Bali's) recipes, I'm sure Malaysian's got their own recipes too and some of them also call it Nasi Goreng (seriously, our language is quite similar).
Gosh, seriously you guys...
This is a video about a really good food, stop cursing & offending each other could you..
Umm, lemongrass? Galangal? Turmeric? Lime? Carrot? Green beans? I've never seen a nasi goreng with those. But I'll give it a try.
And about spring onions, you can replace it with leeks if you want to. I've eaten both with spring onions and leeks, and they tasted not quite different. Still tasty.
What is it about these abusive Malaysians that they have to consistently throw abuse? Is it not the case that those with the emptiest tin have the tin that rattles the loudest? Lovely looking food by the way.
The paste looks challenging lemon grass use to cook nasi goreng.... erm i wonder how is the taste since lemon grass are use normally for cooking dishes.
my god, shit racists, nasi goreng also can create racism, wat the fuck is goin on, its just a food, n just bear in mind, v all r copy cats, so face the fact n shut the fucking mouth!
i'm half indonisian, my grandma used to make it without carrots, prawns and that type of stuff. and she did put the egg in the beginning in with chicken, this shit sucks..
I've seen a billion of ways how to stir-frie nasi goreng (every Indonesian island, village or family has it's own), but this one is in my toplist of 'how not to...'.
By the way, to give color to nasi goreng the Indonesians use sambal, not tomato purée. Tomato purée is a paste which finds its origin on other continents. But in your case you might as well use Tabasco sauce, that also doesn't fit the proper Indonesian dish just like you.
@simarshad kecap manis is sweet soy sauce. It's thick, black colored and sweet. Shrimp paste or called terasi or belacan, has a unique flavor, I'm sure you can bought them in Asian grocery store
@KlienKarnation chinese fried rice is 炒饭! n japanese fried rice is チャーハン! this vid is bout ''nasi goreng'' not chinese 炒饭 or japanese チャーハン. i love 炒饭 n nasi goreng, both r delicious.
@widoz naaah, don't judge all Malaysians by him, some of us just think the world revolves around them.Don't get me wrong, I love Indonesian food. pssttt.... babi guling XP
could you please teach me how to make to make the nasi paste and the ingredients. thanks. i used to work in a Indonesian Restaurant but the owner never teach me how to make the NAsi paste. thanks in advance,. more power..
my version of this
1: cooked rice
2: flavour sachet from the supermarket
3: heat and enjoy!! LOL
