Considering the gaming development technology we have available to us today, then yes, this looks like a cheap remake with updated graphics. Everything, from the physics, graphics, gameplay, design etc looks very similar to that 17 YEARS ago. Why cant they put some more effort in? Cause people will buy it anyway.

Everyone keeps saying that resistance, uncharted and killzone are the best multi-player games for the ps3. I say who gives a fuck, there multi-player sucks ass compared to gears, halo, COD, battlefield, e.t.c. @Talon649 Wtf are you talking about? If your talking about the boss being captured I'm assuming you mean "Nuke" mode. There IS going to be TDM, DM, Team Hunted, and even a more advanced TDM where your team shares a set of lives. Nuke mode is just another game mode with an objective and different style of strategy and play. I don't know if you've seen the video of it but you can search it if you want too. Now, I hope I solved your problem. If not, feel free to ask.

Game about ground-based vehicles wreaking havoc and destroying each other. Worked for years. Now let's add in overpowered helicopters that don't have to play by any of the same rules as the ground vehicles. Totally balanced.

I know exactly what you mean. However I wouldn't be too judgemental, as this was actually an earlier build of the game. The only thing I dislike are the destructive building animations, they appear to be lazily put together, but they do have time to improve on them.

No games shouldn't change the feel, just the look, I love how they kept the old school driving physics that looked horrible because it gave the game it's own unique style. They should have made better damage on surroundings though, that house did just disappear, but the game still looks fun as hell and that's all that's important. I don't think they'll ever top twisted metal black though, they should have made a movie of that game it was sick, could've been a series.

I was thinking about it, and yeah they said this was a very early preview of the game so I'm sure there's still a lot of work being done on the surrounding environments, that ferris wheel looked awesome, I wonder if that was scripted or just good physics.

I liked the Twisted Metal games, but unfortunately, the mechanics and flow of the game look terrible imo. It's 2011 now, and this game looks like it's an average to above average game on PS1. I'm not just talking about the graphics themselves, graphics aren't the most important thing to me at all, or even close to it, in a game.
