Una de las cosas que me movía era esa, la de ver el Azteca, por lo que hizo Diego, pero también por la significancia que tiene en sí mismo "El Gigante", como le dice algún cantautor argentino. For the last 10 years the US has defeated Mexico more times than Mexico has defeated the US. For the last World Cup in South Africa, in my humble opinion the USA did much better than most Latin American football teams.
To be honest, I don´t know why US was not invite to Copa América and Japan was. Maybe US is not interest in the event, I don´t know. That´s a bussines of the CONMEBOL, not of the country in wich it take place. I remember an US match 3-0 against Argentina in 95 in Uruguay. I agree US had a great progress and deserve to participate. I am proud that Argentina won that World Cup back in 1986. I was 11 years old back then. Soccer football is not a popular sport here in the USA. But it is very popular in the Latino community and immigrant population from around the world that lives in the USA.

@08walt It was terribly wonderfull for me to know Azteca Stadium. I am absolutly fan of Maradona, like a lot of people in Argentina, and fútbol in general. Of course, I remember FIFA World Cup 86, I was 10 years old. So, my legs shook when I got in the Stadium. That place is very special for mi and for many people in my country. However, apart from that, the Azteca is an obligatory stop in México D.F.. Sorry about mi English, is not the best.

Los argentinos tienen un corazón muy aventurero, yo conocí a varios en un hotel en Cancún son muy alegres la verdad.
Yo conocí el azteca de paso, cuando me dirigía a Six Flags que segun mire es una zona rica, y el azteca lo contrario.
