There are 16 ethnic groups in Oaxaca each with their own language and culture. From Amuzgo, to zapotec, to mixtec, to triqui and even nahuatl... within the same language, there are different variations from town to town. Zapotec and Mixtec may be the most well known and spoken, but there are certainly more languages spoken in the Oaxacan region.
I would love to learn more about Triki? I know that Triki is spoken in Santiago Juxtlahuaca. I have videos of them. I'll post them for you. You can tell me what is being said on the videos. Thanks for your post.
