Reaktor 5 is stand alone and VST too. U can use it in all DAW which supports VST plugins (Cubase, FL Studio, Ableton, etc.). U can check my videos I use it in my production with ableton and fl studio all the time. It needs to be learned a lot, but it is one hell of a piece of art :)
Don't worry about screwing around, often times I'm screwing around, find something catchy that I like, and then build around that/develop complementing parts. And keep in mind Sweet Child o' Mine was started by screwing around (of course, then it was fleshed out and practiced).
Yeah. And actually since I've made this video I've been doing alot of screwing around and I made some decent songs I'm gonna upload hear in a few. Btw... Do you know how to plug Reaktor into FL studio or how to record on Reaktor? Or is it just strictly a synth generator?
Install Reaktor 5 to C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Vstplugins (make this folder for all your VSTi and VSTfx) go to FL-Options-File Settings-there click "Vst plugins extra search folder" and make it "C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Vstplugins". Now in FL choose Channels-Add one-More,at the bottom of the table choose Refresh - Fast Scan. When scan is finished you will see new channel box with name Reaktor 5, click it(you will see F letter in the box). Close that table, click Channels and there it is :D

@MenneBeats. You can just record the audio. Or you can automate the mute and unmute feature in your DAW.

Should just be a VST plugin? I don't know how FL Studio handles it, I use Live.
