how to use the sambos pack?

i got some kickstart 2 version. so i put the sfx under data, jdoom, and auto. then i put the other 2 files under defs,jdoom, and auto. but it won't work

@joshAKAtheman not suppose to do that. Whatever is in the sambo soundpack zip, highlight it all, and extract it to the main directory of Doomsday which is C:/Doomsday.

@joshAKAtheman lol well no wonder why that file won't work, because its for ZDoom, not Doomsday. Find a .pk3 texture pack that is for Doomsday Kickstart/Engine only!

@joshAKAtheman lmfao just go to google and search jdoom texture pack, then you should see one link that says "Latest Jdoom Texture Pack (for Doomsday engine) addon-Mod DB. I used that one before, so go to that one and download it. Or, you could scroll down in google where you typed in Jdoom Texture Pack, and find the link that says Doom,Doom2,FinalDoom hires texture pack and download from there. Simple as that :)

@joshAKAtheman Yea i forgot to mention, The Interface pack I believe is supposed to be installed into the main directory of Doomsday just like the same way as the Sambo Soundpack. its retarded I know, but install the interface pack into C:/Doomsday just like the Sambo Soundpack, and keep that interface pack in the auto folder just to be safe as well :)

@doneplayalmada it depends I believe. For Doomsday Kickstart 2.09, which is the best Doomsday imo, the Ashley Carr soundtracks don't seem to work, especially Doom 2. Idk why it won't work, since I haven't been on this game for a while, though I still got the files and everything.

Which doomsday r u using? Doomsday Kickstart or Doomsday Engine? If u r using doomsday kickstart, put sambo soundpack in Doomsday/Data/Jdoom/Auto, than extract the sambo soundpack to the main doomsday folder.

As for Doomsday Engine, put the sambo soundpack in Doomsday/snowberry/addons and extract it the main Doomsday folder like the Doomsday Kickstart part.

If it doesn't work, let me know ^_^
