@Beatlesruleok ha ha , i know how unprofesional , i thought that a the time but as i only play for fun and stuff i thought no big deal but the amount of videos i watch and thin the exact same thing , bloody tune it first we dont need to see it ha ha . my apologys i will tune before recording in futre
thanks so much for this, you have made a nine year old boy and his family very happy. he has been learning uke at school for a year but they don't get past "wheels on a bus etc!" he has been wanting to learn this for so long and he has picked it up in 15 mins thanks to you! i can hear the strains of duelling banjos coming through the floor boards as i write this. i have a feeling i am going to be watching a lot more of you over the coming weeks!! CHEERS! from a happy dad!!
@ringwormsnowy Wow thank you so much for that great message , i do a slower version of the faster part of the song and if theres any songs he wants to learn message me and ill do a tutorial for him , once again thanks
@Nukioification You dont sound dense at all , a few people have asked me and i have ment to do a slow video of it showing all the strings and order . I have been a bit busy but i promise to do it saturday and post it .
@Nukioification no problem and thank you , i reply to every single comment , if people take the time to look at my vids then they deserve the respect of a reply
dude that was sooo sick man, thank you so much, the lads will crease up when i drop this one and im looking forward to more tutorials keep up the good work cap'n
Just picked up my uke for the first time today, skimmed some videos that were far too long winded and difficult, then opened this andf have had the tab open for 2 days now and i've finnaly got it down, Thank you @captainbirdseed for your simple, easy to follow tutorial for this classic, can't wait to get out dueling!
@MrMadpierre its my preference and in my opinion there is no right or wrong style to play the uke , the reason i do it with one finger is my finger is going up the strings anyway so i think this peice of music is about speed and i think for me its quicker .
Nice video, stumbled by it just by curiosity, but it's a really good tutorial :). Are you from Birmingham (or there abouts)? I'm just curious; I picked up your accent because I live in Cannock, Staffordshire (18 miles from B'ham).
I absolutely LOVE this tutorial. We were listening to it in the car (the original) and my dad was like OMG! YOU NEED TO LEARN THIS ON UKULELE. So I was looking for ages, and then came across your video. There is only one bit i'm struggling with though - the fast bit towards the end. When your fingers are in the F posistion is it. G, E, A, E, A or is it G, A, E, G, E or something completely different? Thanks in advance :D
@lesleyannemcintosh hello , i put my fingers in the f posiston but just pick top string and bottem 2 strings same for the g and the c and then its just practice your speed picking
Before the start I would have though I'd never get this one, but it was a great tutorial, easy to follow and well laid out, nice one. Just getting to grips with it now.
Tune up before the video starts... We know how to do that! lol.

@BenjyMehCohen Hello and thankyou for watching , its a lanikai uke and its a concert not a tenor , glad you liked the video

@captainbirdseed1 it is identical to my tenor skylark, I guess concert and tenor are simmilar sizes. still, thanks.
