  • C'était un Rendezvous ("It was a date") is a short film (under 10 minutes) made in 1976 by Claude Lelouch, showing a high speed drive through Paris. The film shows an eight-minute drive through Paris in the early hours of the morning (05:30hrs), accompanied by sounds of a high-reving engine, gear changes and squealing tires (From Wikipedia)

  • red lights??? where¿¿¿

  • wonderful =)

  • August morning 1978, Claude Lelouch mounted a gyro-stabilized camera to the bumper of a Ferrari 275 GTB and had a friend drive through Paris. From Porte Dauphine, through the Louvre, to Basilica of Sacre Coeur. No streets were closed. The driver completed the course in about 9 minutes, reaching nearly 140MPH in some stretches. The footage reveals him running real red lights, nearly hitting real pedestrians, and driving the wrong way up real one-way streets.

  • @MeLaang -wrong.the car was a mercedes.he overdubbed a ferrari engine for sound.and this music tops even a ferrari engine

  • @karinagnesgertrud

You are correct! He drove his own Mercedes-Benz 450SEL 6.9 in the film and dubbed the sound effects of a Ferrari 275GTB.

    Thanks :-)
