I have a question for exercises fitness trainers. Some exercises look simple but have pre-requisite strength and flexibility requirements. What are the requirements for this one. Would a beginner who never did neck exercises be safe to start on this?
how often should u train like this..everyday. 2x a day..iv heard olympic wreslters do it 2x a day..i use 4 way neck everyday but iv heard briding is better to build ur neck up..any advice..iv done it before but prefrer 4way neck machine b/c its a pain to get on the floor and to do this
@RumuhAlg no, it will strengthen muscles in your back you tend not to use. it wont bulk you up if your already training hard. if your a weak lil bitch it will most likely increase muscle mass. (it will make it more cut if anything)
Hi Lee. I just want to say that my eyes have really been opened to the world of functional strength and fitness. I do wrestler's bridging currently along with other functional strength workout's i.e. lifeline fitness's powerwheel etc. I can do the wrestler's bridge for almost 4 minutes now. But I am wondering, functional fitness is great but I still want to bulk up doing dumbell excercises. Could I do both without all of the damage weights can do to people? Thanks.
lol i started without using support of hands but i used a very very soft pillow :)
ive been doing this for 2 weeks now and my neck is coming stronger but when will it become very buff (huge) like this guy's neck or like vin diesel's neck (basically a wrestler's huge neck)
many people don't do neck at all, would be great if you could expound on neck exercises

This exercise should be approached carefully, but it is a fantastic exercise nonetheless. Great vid!

When you say it works you back, you mean like a normal exercise that will make you gain muscle?

Hey Lee...good one. BTW, this is a yoga posture call "Chakrasan"...Chakra in Sanskrit means wheel and asan mean posture/pose.

I think u underestimate the strength of your neck muscles. Do it with balance and care and no prob

Build up gradually and keep your hands down at the beginning until you get comfortable. Once you try it you'll see it's not as hard as it looks.
