I agree with im4realenaj, the music side by side is exactly the same as the original. Why could she have not come up with her own original tribute songs, as opposed to taking what has already been done and sugar coating it with a bunch of modern day pomp and circumstance? I guess anything to sell records. And then put an empathetic twist on it as if it were truly dedicated to those long gone heros of yesteryear along with the original artists of way back then. Such a sad state of affairs.

She has the actual musical knowledge & respect to make an album like Back to Basics, she's not trying to "fool" anyone. She grew up on jazz rhythm & blues & her fave singer is Etta James. Listen to her song "Back in The Day" she names every singer by name & the song is about giving the legends credit for paving the way
