  • Thanks for sharing the idea. I used it on a cigar box banjo. Being so light and relatively dense the credit card bridge really brightened up the cigar box and gave it more pop, making it sound a little more like a banjo and a little less like a long neck ukulele.

  • @CtwoHfive0H That's wicked cool. Glad it worked out for ya.

  • You are the best it making something out of nothing. lol. Some great picken.. 5*

  • Yes, I love doin' that more than almost anything.. hahahaha

  • Those cards are handy. I've used them for shimming string nuts, and guitar necks before. Plus if you cut them up for use on musical instruments you aren't running up your credit lol

  • I think it might work the other way around... Probably the safest way to use 'em.. hahaha..

  • whew! thought that was Richard Sisorhands there for a minute!

dont cut up all your credit cards! you might need em to buy ears! haha

  • Sorry, can't year ya..

  • those were some brutal scissors! i make guitar picks out of credit cards sometimes

  • Yea, I've made picks out those bread package thingees..

  • thats a great idea actually i seem to always loose my picks

  • I would have never thought to try a credit card. Those are some large scissors

  • Yea, got me to wondering if a Visa would sound better than a Mastercard, or vis-versa.. hahahah..

  • You are my hero.

  • Never would have guessed it would have stayed in place without feet like a regular bridge. Might need to try that on the teakettle.

  • It's a pretty precarious balance, but it does work. Not sure how it'd sound on the tea kettle.. haha
