There is an unprecedented trend in this election, with hangups on phone pollsters reaching 80%. That means only about 20% of those called answer the poll pro or con. Now consider that Obama's supporters tend to be VERY vocal about their candidate. They are NOT the ones hanging up on the pollsters.
Election day is going to surprise those who rely on the polls.

Raycheetah, you make an excellent point. We all know that the Obama supporters are much more excited and make their support for their candidate more relevant in public, while McCain supporters are, I guess you could call, the "silent majority". It will be a long night on Election Night.
