im down to have this as my first car...sadly i live in america where finding one of these escorts is like finding out what this song is called...which reminds me anyone know this song?
@samisfit109 Best bet for this kinda car is the "Ford RS Owners" club, some people sell basic shells wich can be easier to get, and some places still make fiberglass shells to
@josaldinho1883 ive had a couple of rs1800, i was never keen on the 2000 though, just somethign about the nose cone put me off, but the flat front & forest arches on the 18 just rocked :D
how was it possible to do all this without all the safety gear & barriers that is needed nowdays plus the specators would need to stand at least a mile back for safety. How the world didn't end the day this was filmed beats me..... if you agree with me like this
It's just a real pleasure to see the precision of the top level drivers of those cars. Even when at what may be considered these days to be outrageous angles, the cars just seem to be so precisely controlled - just so much this way, that angle that way or a little bit less now, etc. Very clean and tidy, and really entertaining to watch.

My favorite car driven by two of my favorite drivers, Bjorn Waldegaard and Hanu Mikkola. Amazing! It is like dancing on ice. What an era
