To people who don't have this game: GET IT WHILE YOU STILL CAN. Buy it from retailers while there are still copies being sold! This is one of the best Mario games, definitely. People who don't have this gem are missing out. :P

Best Mario game there is... this one actually had some sort of (nice) story. Too bad the fans all had to complain too much and we got the no-story approach back in SMG2 and to a much lesser extend SMG.

This game gets too much hate. Personally, I think it's nice that Nintendo tried something different with the franchise FOR ONCE. Of course, all the fanboys started crying because DIFFERENT IS BAD, so the next game ended up being the same old crap, IN SPACE! If any 3D Mario game deserved a sequel, it's this. Galaxy 2 is a disgrace to the franchise.

I really like Sunshine. It may be my favourite gamecube title.

It's even close to SM64 in my opinion. Challenging levels, free level exploration for blue coins and secret shine sprites.

But things changed. I don't like how they changed. I am NOT a fan of Galaxy. Why did they make it so linear? The free open space of SM64 and Sunshine made the games so great but now they decided to just cut that out.

And in my opinion Sunshine's controls and camera were perfect.

This is my least favorite of the 3D Marios. The waterpack felt gimmicky and the voice overs were terrible. Gimmicks and bad voice-overs: the same problems that plague many of the 3D Sonic games.
