Lol you guys abuse the word "rice"... Having a boosted civic that does not have crazy decals, huge spoilers and 20 inch chrome rims makes it cool.. its a little tuner.. Realistically, they handle better than most cars.. So lets re fucking lax on the use of "rice" when describing a car.. cause I know plenty of civics that kick the shit out of vettes, ferraris, and other similar competition. Damn a real enthusiast is one who appreciates anything on four wheels.

Nothing can make THAT large of a HP jump without giving up the ghost somewhere. 90% of the time, the handling goes to crap instantly. He couldnt keep up with a Ferrari if he tried around a real track.

I think the "rice" comments are more about the owners of the cars than the cars themselves. Unfortunately, *most* owners of these cars are "hat sideways, jeans drooping down, subwoofer-toting" jackholes. Like the kind of guys that you'd shoot on the spot if your daughter brought one home with her. That being said, even with a million horsepower, there just isnt anything about a Honda Civic thats exciting. Its a base model runabout car. I mean.... ya know?

Rice is like a Lowered, ridiculous body kit that even japanese people wouldn't even consider looking at, and Neon, and flashy paint.. that's rice, but if i see a 4cyl 1.6 L Honda Civic put down aroudn 300-400horse, that gets respect, ~2400lbs car at 400horse will kick some ass.
