This dude with the Ashleigh Banfield glasses NEVER seems to have a point. I've actually never even heard him quote one verse of Scripture. EVER!? What is going on here?
It isn't apostasy, the church isn't based on the bible. The bible is based on the earliest church. The church was made almost 300 years before the bible was.

We ask for things from God that are not necessarily good for us. He knows best to give or not to, when and what to give. (I think that's the meaning.

That's his point. He doesn't use scripture. He uses real life examples. Scripture isn't the most important thing for a speaker to know.
