@Yzerfan55 not true at all, they use one on the Adirondack service in the fall usually. Usually from i believe Albany up to Montreal.

@MrZkr123 This would be the very same. This is the only dome car currently running on AMTK. It is usually on the east coast Sept-Oct., surfliner 799/798/792 during thanksgiving, the Levenworth Snow train in Wash. in December, the Reno Fun train in Jan/feb. and back to Surfliner Service in July-Aug.

The coast starlight always runs with high level cars, as do almost all long distance amtrak trains. Only once did the Starlight run with low Levels.

Yeah, I looked that up after I wrote that. I'd never heard anyone call it that before. Odd that the Great Northern would name one of their cars Ocean View, since only that short stretch of the route from Everett to Seattle runs along the ocean.
