  • Destroyer is the most KISS album of KISS< if you know what i mean

  • Better album-Destroyer or Love Gun ?

  • @Godthunder15 Rock and Roll Over.

  • I found this song buying a vinyl when i was in a journey in frankfurt, and it had a message that i cant translate because a dont know german, it says somethimg like this: wer sie findet(die schallplatte) soll sie, bitte tllnuchbring. someone could translate it? Gracias¡¡¡

  • To: @MrMrjorge13 The first part: "wer sie findet(die schallplatte) soll sie, bitte" means"... "Who can find (the record) to them, please". The last word "tllnuchbring" was a bit tougher. Finally, a very old and senile man who speaks 27 languages was consulted who revealed it as a dire warning (although he would not identify the language or dialect). Basically he said, the whole thing means... "Beware... for fate awaits the bearer of this special recording...". I'd sell it.

  • @ploopterfarm Danken Sie Ihnen sehr viel. We are puppets of the fate. ;)

  • I bet Kiss don't sing that song the last 50 years:P

  • @missglamorous22 "I bet Kiss don't sing that song the last 50 years:P".... Don't know, let's analyze your statement. The song Flaming Youth is from Destroyer released in 1976. So, 2012 minus 50 years = 1962. You're definitely correct for the roughly 14 years (from '62 until '76-ish) when the song didn't exist. Now, what!?... Oh, I was just told I misread your statement and you're indicating they haven't sat in one spot and continuously sang this song for 50 years. Oh, well yes!

  • @ploopterfarm well you're really smart if that's what you want. All I want to say is that kiss don't sing this song anymore because they no longer represent "flaming youth". Yeah, I could check out when that song was released and then write the comment. But that wasn't my point really.

  • @missglamorous22 Oh, I get it. The song is about youth and they're old. Ohhhhh... hahahahhahaaaa! Cool

  • On of the best 70's rock album ever

  • easily one of kiss's best albums

  • @supersce1 Destroyer and Kiss' 74 are the jewels to own

  • did peter criss play all drums on destroyer?

  • @raymike1000 Yep.

  • @raymike1000 Every single beat on it !

  • I've seen so much good KISS songs, Í think KISS is a better band than Van Halen.

Van Halen may have better artists, but as a band KISS outranks them.

  • This song describes my life XD

  • Occupy [Insert city] movement

  • i love this song expecially becuase black viel brides names thier knew albume ''the world on fire lol....

  • Flaming Youth, sets the world on fire!

  • młodzieży Flamin, będzie ustawić świat w ogniu

  • Comment removed

  • I always liked this song, I hope that San Francisco doesn't ever discover this song, it might become their anthem!

  • Nice...this song really brings me back....

  • Nice lead by Dick Wagner

  • "However, one musician was not credited: Dick Wagner, from Alice Cooper's band, replaced Ace Frehley on tracks such as "Sweet Pain" (as Frehley did not want to interrupt a card game he was playing during recording sessions for the song) and even on a song that Frehley himself co-wrote, "Flaming Youth"."--Wikipedia

  • Way to piss off part of your family. Find a way to be a rock star or two via writing or backing groups. It was funny. Part of the groups original backers were related to the TV industry and later the film industry. Part of the lyrics here were a poke at people that try to hold you back or pull you down. They insult you but also they never really know you or what you can achieve with the right people.

  • Is this song about gay teenagers?

  • @Jefgg No its not about gay teens. It was a term used way back probably in the 60,s. Rebellious!!!!!!!!

  • @Jefgg Naw. I probably wished it was. It's 'take no shit', stand up and push back.

  • this is what my parents think of me in the beging of the song

  • Am I the only one finding it funny that a Kiss song was posted by an ACDCfan :-P

  • @oetelaar3 lawl whats wrong with thatt,

  • @acdcfreak94 ilove acdc and kiss cuz they both kick ass >:)

  • @acdcfreak94: I didn't say that it was wrong. ;-)

  • @acdcfreak94 it's a hell of alot better than posting a Lady GAGGING or Titty Pain song.

  • @acdcfreak94 I didn't say there was, I just noticed.

  • @oetelaar3 im an ac/dc and kiss fan...so?

  • @oetelaar3 Why would that be funny?

  • @oetelaar3 not really, alot of us like both bands

  • @oetelaar3 whoever love AC/DC, loves KISS and Aerosmith too ... yes they are my favorite hard rock bands of all time

  • @oetelaar3 right.. lol

  • @oetelaar3 yea you and the other 13 retards are the only ones finding it funny

  • @ArtisDaSpoonman What does Gene's ways of parenting have to do with anything?!?! You are so fucking stupid! I'm also 14 and you just seem like a dumb ass brat to me. If you don't fucking like their AMAZING music why the hell are you looking it up and listening to it?

  • Despite of what people and Simmons say, and unlike Sweet Pain (where the solo does indeed sound like someone else) , this solo - Flaming Youth - does sound like Ace to me -stylistically, although, I wasn't there, so who knows.

  • @egyptianminor That's Dick Wagner playing Guitar on this song.. Also, singing the over dubbed lead vocal. Go to his website you can find it yourself

  • @artiebassplayer I don't doubt it , but who knows? He SAYS he played on it, plus Ace is credited as co-writer of this song; still a bit of a low blow on S/S's part, to get someone else to play -Ace style - on a song co-written by Ace (just to show him WHO's in control of the band), but if Ace's really been a truant when it came to obliging to their long sessions - going off to play poker & get smashed - he might have had it coming.

  • @egyptianminor Ace Didn't play on that song. It was Dick Wagner Ace Wrote that song with Kim Fowley( Runaways Manager) and Stanley

  • @egyptianminor Ace did play on this song.Dick Wagner just did the over dub lead .Ace did the rest

  • @Godthunder15 I know, the whole discussion was about who played the guitar solo on this song.

  • @ArtisDaSpoonman no thanks!!! and what do you do?! just sit here and wait here for someone to write something for you to write to? also i find it a little suspicious to know all that about gene....

secret fan? or actually wanting to sleep with gene?

    i say both.

  • @ArtisDaSpoonman we all hope you die too. KISS rules! im 13 and i die heart fan!

and i bet your jealous that Gene gets more girls in a night then you will your whole life.

  • Great song!! I love the 70s version of Kiss!!

  • KISS had a monster influence in Japan .

  • KISS ROCKS!!

  • @VictorySwissAutoLTD <<<<<< this individual plays with lil boys he is a sicko!!!!!!!!

gaurd your personal infomation when hes around!!!!!

  • 1 dislike ? My grandma hated this album too.

  • @455Transam-other than Paige and Bonham, who out of those bands are somehow great musicians? Their playing isn't anything more technical than KISS. Ace blows Townsend, Richards, or fucking Joe Perry away. It s all opinion but seriously.

  • @13visions Um, John Paul Jones was the REAL talent in Zeppelin. Anyone with half a brain knows this.

  • love gun = destroyer for the best kiss 8 track...lol

  • I think my heads gonna fly off my shoulders!!!! Kind of a punk song with balls, Flaming Youth!!! Fuck the Ramones!!

  • @SuperColee123 dude, don't rip on the ramones... they were good too. :P

  • @SuperColee123 While Kiss is a loved band by I, Gene Simmons is a fucking prick.

  • Destroyer was a good kiss album but not the best? hell when alive sales 4 million copies of course this one was going to be big lol. Its like motley crue shout at the devil and the first album is the best and girls girls girls sold way more. Sometimes the build up makes a decent album better than it should. The best album was hotter than hell. The songs own live. Its a staple of the live act ;-)

  • My flag is flying higher and higher and higher and higher. The only KISS song featuring a Carnival Organ?

  • @ArtisDaSpoonman YOU CAN GO FUCK URSELF!!!

KISS IS THE GREATEST BAND IN THE WORLD!

  • @omgfoad I like KISS but "Greatest Band in the World" C'mon man, lol

Better than THE WHO or ZEPPELIN or BAD COMPANY or AEROSMITH or DEEP PURPLE or THE STONES?? They were great showman but as far as musicians go they were just average to good .

  • anyone who hates KISS is a moron! KISS is the only band i never get tired of!

  • Dick Wagner played guitar on this and Flaming youth...I was so let down when I found out it wasn't Ace...Now that I listen, it doesn't even sound like Ace...

  • @vettefret "Dick Wagner played guitar on this and Flaming youth.."

Dude, this song IS Flaming Youth. lol

  • FUCK "ArtisDaSpoonman" KISS HATES YOU DICK FACE!!!

  • @ArtisDaSpoonman Perhaps when you grow older you will. i think its one of those that grow on you kindda like Kashmir, D.A.D and Alfa Beat

  • @ArtisDaSpoonman your stupid dude, even if you dont like kiss, like you shouldnt waste your time listening and talking about bands you dont like. but thanks for the views anyways xDDD

  • @acdcfreak94 you can go to hell, you can go to hell and you die

  • @BrandonNMSS232 south park reference?

  • @acdcfreak94 dont feed trolls

  • This LP (yes, that is Long Play for those who were not born before 1980) represents Kiss's creative zenith, in so far as Kiss could claim to be musically creative at all. And the sound of it brings back feelings of youthful energy and experimentation from a much less complicated time.

  • @swelsh1965 God aint that the truth!! We used to jump around my friends patio with tennis rackets for guitars listening to this.

  • @roquefortfiles LMAO!! I'm sure a lot of kids AND adults did that as well. Saw Kiss this summer. Best show I've ever seen and I've seen at 50 bands over the years. Little kids in make up, a family in full costume, 4 guys dressed in suits like the Dressed To Kill Album, and even a couple that HAD to be pushing 70 dressed like a gangster and moll. He was wearing a black pinstripe suit and fedora with a silver band and silver tie. She was wearing black and silver dress to match. It was too cool.

  • witch album has psycho circus

  • @soshanna68 psyco circus has psycho circus.

  • @soshanna68 psycho circus has psycho circus dumbass.

  • i think i ll dedicate this to heather 1989....

  • KISS should do a Destroyer Tour next year for its 35th Anniversary--do the entire album live. Bring a choir on stage for Great Expectations. KISS fans would kill for this. KISS would never do it though. Gene and Paul always talk about giving the fans what they want but yet, they never do.

  • im 13, i just recently got a turn table, i bought this record for 12 bucks at every day music, great album great band, worth the 12 bucks :)

  • @crafter99983 keep buying KISS, and it only gets better!

  • @36hcupsizeandgrowing true that man i now own destroyer, love gun, alive!, hotter than hell, dynasty, and alive! II, and i think in total i got all these for i think 60 dollers

  • I was in line for the "Alive II" show at the Forum. I was 10 years old. the guy in front of me thought that I was too young to be at the show. he asked me in a sarcastic voice "when did you become a Kiss fan? When Destroyer came out?" I told him "hell no, I've been a fan since" Alive". The guy shut up after that. It appeared to me that a true Kiss fan would snod Destroyer because it's real pop-ish and not as hard as the previous Kiss albums. of course that's before we learned about Bob Kulick.

  • gotta love their destroyer album. best one they ever made in my opinion. every single song man, chill up in my room blast these songs as loud as my 12's will pump em and just go batshit insane. man their music really gives you a heavy feeling of Anarchy. Like when you get done with this album, youre just like "FUCK THE GOVERNMENT MAN!!!" i swear

  • @avalaunch1 I've only felt that way since obama took over.

  • i love every album by the KISS Machine

  • one of my all time fave kiss songs, i remember being about 10yrs old, listening to the lyrics and staring at the album cover, and thinking of the fire on the cover, and i believed there would set the rock n roll world on fire, and they did, and when kiss meets the phantom of the park aired on tv, waiting for it and watching it, i still love that movie, i don't care how cheesey it is,

  • Destroyer is my #1 album of all time!

  • i love this album and i think this one is timeless,

  • i love all the songs,

  • The cool thing about KISS is this...whatever age/stage of your life you were in and the albulm that corresponds with that time is probably your personal favorite cuz it has personal meaning. I was a member of the KISS ARMY! Still hAVE MY ARM BAND FROM 1976! I agree that Alive is what got them on the map. Rock n Roll All Nite is a staple but for me...Destroyer is it! Sappily though," I've been a gambler but I'm nobodys fool/sure know something! uh-huh!"

  • this is my favourite kiss album

  • Destroyer is a classic Kiss album! However, Alive was the album that made Kiss famous.

  • My first rock concert - Destroyer tour, 1976 (or '77?). I was in the 7th grade. Still the best show I've ever seen -much better than the times I saw them after that. Probably warped me in some way or formed a pattern in my life -sure of it....

  • The guitar riffs on this song kick serious ass

  • love da song wish i could c them in person @ my home town

  • Destroyer was the first record I ever bought :-)

... I still prefer vinyls to CDs...

  • An anthem for the ages. Should have been included in at least one episode of "That 70s Show." That would have been cool. They could have made the show a lot cooler with songs like this that reflected the times. I know they played some rock 'n' roll, but none quite like this KISS gem.

  • @Mulletdude87 I agree, I find this song to be just as catchy as "Rock n' Roll all Nite" but of course everyone ignores what isn't played on the radio.

  • Destroyer and Dynasty were my fav albums

  • I love KISS sooooo much oh wow nevermind

  • "... Kiss was way more interesting to experience than some scrub in a flannel and torn up jeans..."

  • "and Kiss was pioneering the sound before Nirvana decided to jack thier version up of Kiss's music...."

  • "it does not matter to me if Kurt liked Kiss or not....like a gnat in comparison to a Moth...Kurt was pissing his diapers before he picked up a guitar..."

  • Ace didn't write or play the solo on this one. Deceptive. Dick Wagner.

  • @hotprofdude indeed, I never understood why he didn't because for a Wagner solo this one is fairly simple when compared to say Aerosmith's "Train Kept a Rollin'" guitar duel with Steve Hunter. Another deceptive thing imo. Wagner and Hunter blew away everyone from that era and never got the recognition that they truly deserve.

  • @hotprofdude ace did co write part of the song bob ezrin put this song together from vaious demos from other kiss songs including one from ace , bob ezrin didnt like ace's solo so he had dick wagner record over the one ace did

  • it's only a matter of time before this gets removed. I posted a video i made and it got removed. this album is so great nothing beats being a kid like 10 and playing this record and today the music is such a damn joke. Ace was and always will be the man.....

  • I keep hearing about that mp4ify site. where can i find it? downloads audio and video from any youtube video to mp3 or mp4 files?

  • can someone point me to mp4ify? rips youtube video to mp3 or mp4 and it is fast? i was told to lookup on any search engine mp4ify

  • I discovered mp4ify for saving utube videos as mp3 or mp4 - its fast..

  • I am pumped about the new audio quality module on mp4ify. The best site 2 rip mp3s or mp4s from youtube.

  • I save the audio from these clips to mp3 quick and free - lookup mp4ify on any search engine

  • You would know.

  • @whyttygar You're a moron.

  • really GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD

  • ace frehley is very much alive and kicking

  • he aint dead

  • Umm ok he isn't dead.

  • overall under rated album... shame. i remember when it came out it urinated off alot of fans.. i'm like WHAT? this is great stuff.. oh well.

  • Underrated? What're you talking about? It was certified gold. Not only that, but it was filled with classic live staples like God of Thunder and Detroit Rock City.

  • He doesn't know what he's talking about. This album underrated? What about "Creatures of the Night"!? Or "Revenge"!? Or "Carnival of Souls"!? Or "Dressed to Kill"!? I hear very few songs from those albums via the radio.

  • @gdrugg2006 As a KISS fan I must say KISS has plenty better albums than Destroyer, good album but there are better KISS albums out there. Creatures of the Night, Lick It Up, Dressed To Kill, KISS, Sonic Boom are in my opinion better.

  • @vfgjhj

Yeah, I totally agree. This one isn't my favorite either, i was just saying it was very critically acclaimed. I think my favorite is Dressed To Kill.

  • @gdrugg2006 No, Kiss is more respected then you know

  • @CrashmagnetMusic

Don't tell me... I know damn well. Tell the guy I was bitching at earlier.

  • @gdrugg2006, and even better it had King of the Nightime World, way better than detroit hardluck city.

  • @gdrugg2006 King of the Nighttime World is the main classic on that album

  • this song fits my life perfectly

  • Underrated KISS song, Paul Stanley's vocals on this song are so unique and addictive.

  • i like the harmonium version hockey

  • I was 13 years old when "Destroyer" came out and my Brother and I saw this Tour at the Spectrum in Philly! AWESOME fuckin' show back then.........and LOUD too!

  • i was right there with you that was an Awesome show i didnt leave my seat for one second

  • sums up my day haha

  • my new and improved KISS channel

    from,

    Tony Aznar

  • um, izadine, Destroyer came out in spring of 1976!!!

  • sorry my mistake, I was in 4th grade and I was ten and your correct it was in 1976 sorry

  • Comment removed

  • really, 2 years before it was released?

  • I agree. these guys don't get as much attention as they deserve.

  • like to see ANY band do what KISS did, true legends - ACE at his best

  • While Ace did co-write the song, it's Dick Wagner, not Ace Frehley playing on this song.

  • Without a doubt one of THE most underrated KISS songs in their catalog! I would absolutely love to hear this one live!

  • i can't believe how great this album still sounds even after 30 + years, i rember when this album came out and man did it blow me away back then, i still get that same feeling even to this day. what a great album

  • "Destroyer" was THE album that made KISS a legend, that gave them that superhero-like aura of mystery and magic no band will ever be able to beat... or match.

  • @gabstanace... Destroyer was the album that demonstrated that KISS could perform in the studio. But alive made them legends.

  • They should play this live more its a good song!

  • hey..... you sparked a flame that was long lost inside my brain

how could i ever forget!!!!!!!!!!! thanks alot buddy you rock hard!!!

  • This song spoke to a generation, and it's one of the best rock songs ever. Kiss displayed some remarkable song writing abilities here. Hats off to KISS, MAN!!!

  • Fuck Yeah!

  • so cool! Love these kiss vids
