Neil Young, for example, fueled his 2004 tour entirely on biodiesel, which can theoretically run the green van shown in the opening scene of this vid. Biodiesel is affordable, and sustainable if made using non-staple food crops. If celebrity status makes taking the train impossible, then perhaps the band should find better ways to go green - like touring less and finding other ways to be more frugal.
