  • Thanks for the lovely video. Enjoy the marine life as long it still exists...

The nuclear power plant accident in Japan and the high radioactivity will have a huge impact at the ecological system on the land and sea...

It won't take too long then the wind, the rain and the ocean stream will send the radiation around the planet.

Sad but the truth... Stop the expansion and deactivate all nuclear power worldwide and immediately!

  • Anyone enjoying this video should know that the New Zealand government, pressurised by the fishing industry, is doing nowhere near enough to save the Hector and Maui dolpins.

Three dead Hector's dolphins have been found on Canterbury beaches, two on West Coast beaches, and one on an Otago beach since December 2008 (two months since this text was posted).

  • I adore Hector's dolphins. I've swum with them in Akaroa, and I plan on going back this year.

If you hadn't noticed, I've named my account after them. Cephalorhynchus hectori =)

  • I have added as a favorite a story about them you will be interested in. It describes that if you call them under water soon enough they recognise your voice and that it is you calling and they come!

  • @clickthisway Could you please explain how you could call to a dolphin a bit further click? I surf alongside Hectors dolphins several times a week and would be interested to have a go :)

  • i hear there is some swimming with dolphin programe somewhere in the north island

  • And in Lyttelton and Akaroa both by Christchurch.
