By creating a seemingly sympathetic song about the "problems" of the rich 1%, he forces us to look at the REAL problems of those of us in the 99%. This adds power to our cause and is an important compliment to music that directly addresses the 99%.
This song is great on so many levels -- as a depiction of the casual arrogance of "One Percenters", as a musical link to Woody Guthrie, as a link between the last Great Depression and this one . . . We need more songs like this one. Everybody needs to listen to this.
