@TheFreakyfixed87 i just put a set of 33 inch dunlop mud rovers on my ford and In my opinion ya just cant beat them, they are quiet, and good wearing i have 20k on em now and they still look brand new, no weather cracking or cupping(unlike the bfg's i had) and for traction i go in to mud holes in 2wd stuff her to the rug ya can feel them spin for a second and then they clean out and grab very good, havent been stuck with em yet. I live in Canada so all the sipes in em helped lots in winter also
@TheFreakyfixed87 i just put them on a f150 4x4 and i like them alot so far they do good in mud and good cleanout patterns. they arent that loud on the road till you get to about 55
@1999DodgeRamSport there is a guy over here in ardmore Oklahoma tht has had his set off 33" thornbirds on his yota for 4years and they still have about 40% of tread left maybe more
Thornturds are a half ass mud tire. Personally, I'd rather own a set of BFG KM2 MT's. If you want a true mud tire from Interco you obviously need to buy a TSL / TSL/SX / Bogger.....Thornturds are about as shitty as they come. I own a set of 37x13.50 boggers, 35x15.50 TSL/SX & currently riding on my lovely 37x13.50R20 mud grapplers.
I liked the thorn birds in the muck thought they worked real well this a video of my buddies CHEVY lol not makin through what every one else was, those are my old tires and i put on bfg km2 and foud them to be as loud and wear worse cup like mad if ya use em as a daily driver tire obviously boggers are better I wanted a all terain tire with the interco name on em and thats what i got with the thorn birds
@gityermudon get some toyo mts open country...thats what i got on mine and trust me you wont be dissapointed..they wear out really good and get you out of any situation.
Hey how do you like thos tires? are they anygood like in the video it shows they proform nice but are they good for trail riding rock crawling and mud
This is a budys truck he had stock tires on i gave him these to run for the day, his turbo couldnt keep up and he was havin injector troubles so he never made it through this hole but on my 2000 f150 they were unbelevable in mud when i would get stuck id just put her in reverse and drive out. They were nice on trails never had em on the rocks they sucked in sand though, on highway noisy but not bad for what they are
if it was raining they liked to make the truck fishtail without tryin, they also rolled on the rims a bit because they are a bias ply tire but I LOVE Thornbirds ill never go back to a normal mud tire
This video is of a friend, he had stock tires and wanted to go play so i borowed him a set, his turbo couldnt keep up and he was havin injector troubles so he never made it through this hole. When I had those tires on my 2000 f150, in the mud, unreal! loved em, on trails they were nice aired down, they did not like sand at all lol stuck more than some 2 wheel drive rigs were in the dunes, on highway noisy but not bad for what they are wet traction was not so good and they rolled on the rims
Good Old HORNY THORNYS .. seemed to be a ok tire definatley not in the same categories as a swamper or bogger but better than alot of others M/T tires by competitors
Thorbirds are hard to beat in mud!!!!!! i have a set of 35 12.50's on my 2001 stepside chevy. but they get old quick on the street. ride like shit and cant balance them for nothing. wont ever buy another set of birds for a truck that has to drive on the road too lol
I musst have got lucky with mine then, they balanced not to bad, didnt get any stering wheel wobble out of her any way. and for ride dont crank em up to 90psi like the tire says run em at 35psi and they where a nice rididng tire a litle roll on the rim cause they are byasply but I thought they were good........ish, lol once I am done workin on the rigs and traveling all over canada I will be geting another set for my truck
This is a budies truck check out the other videos I have, my f150 makes it and another 98 chevy deisel with stock tires doesnt so I think its just chevy, lol the video is called 2000 f150 in some mud
