the game was changed greatly

for me, not having Luigi's wavedash was something difficult to adapt, now i had to change my whole Luigi strategy, and i didn't know the effectiveness of his moves, the fact that Luigi's range was reduced, there were lots of things to get used to and this was actually the first time i had played the game

You have just proven that you don't really know what you're talking about.

In Melee, Bowser WAS low tier. Statistically, he was worse than almost every other character in the game. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean there can't be good Bowser players. All it means is that STATISTICALLY, Bowser's combination of everything (speed, attacks, etc.) are worse than almost every other character.

I play as Bowser myself, and often win games against my friend's Fox. Does this disprove tiers? Of course not.

i dont think tiers are worthless - you never actually saw melee tournament winners that were bowsers, ganons, MEWTWOS, PICHUS.

Of course skill determines who wins but the best players usually had top or high tier characters although plenty prove that tier doesn't determine everything (gimpy, chudat, etc.)

all the good strats are taken out of this game from melee like wave dash and L cancel.

plus brawl is slow paced compared to melee.

You are a fool to think a game with more than one character can be completely balanced. Diddy Kong has fucking too good of combos and Toon Link kills at 6% with his down Smash. Other characters meanwhile lack and combos and have only the slowest attacks in the game (Ike's tilts are slower than most smashes). There will always be characters with more advantages than others. If you expect there to be a game with 39 movesets that are completely balanced, you are for lack of a better word, a chump.

toon link also has pathetic range and power, he cant kill at 6% unless hes right to the wall -.-

diddy aint that great at all, he has extremely bad range and recovery, his specials only do like 5 dmg... and so far the diddys ive seen get owned my small characters, only noobs get caught in combos, you cant combo what you cant hit

ike has slow movements yes, BUT he also has

1. best close range

2. best AoE

3. most power

4. GREAT recovery

5. UpB makes him invincible
